Waterway to go

My Waterway@Punggol, the Singapore longest man-made waterway which was constructed by damming two rivers at the east and west of punggol to form two reservoirs to meet Singapore increasing water needs. Thus is part of the $225 million feature in punggol.

This will be our new park for running and also a new play area (water play area and sandpit) for janelle...

This evening when we drove pass the area, there were some lights attracted our attention and we decided to check it out. It was the rehearsal for tomorrow 23 Oct grand opening. Exciting activities and performance from 2 to 10pm with fireworks at 730pm. There will be a "hand in hand wave" on 5pm at the Punggol waterway circular deck. The first 1000 participants will receive a goodie bag at the end of the activity. For more details, visit www.HDB.gov.sg/punggolecotown

Getting there:
By foot, it's about 5min walk from Punggol MRT.
Or you can hop on the free shutter buses plying from Punggol MRT, Sengkang MRT and Punggol Plaza.
