Very last minute, i've joined my parents, sis and bro to Korea for a short 7days tour last month. The main purpose was to have meet the parents session in busan for preparation of my brother E & N marriage. Yes, he is marring a Korean lady.. wonder where he got his luck from :)
A week before departure, sis and i was discussing about the itinerary from Fxxxxxx tour agency that pop had engaged. Suddenly, hus asked if i want to join them... Yes, he asked... very sweet of him doing last min arrangement with his travel and work for me to go away for a short break. :) with some datelines on hand from work, bargained with boss and lead and off i go. Condition was i will need to continue to monitor the project even i'm in KR by working 2 hours every nights.
Day 1: Arrival in Seoul and check in Hotel... 1st night, was a nightmare.. got a smoking room and with queen size bed shared with my sis. wasn't able to change due to the rooms had been fully booked. both of us had a fight in our dream.. she gave me an elbow and i gave her kick in our sleep.. goodness me..
Day2: Visited Gyeongbuk Palace / Namsan Folk Village / Drive pass presidential Blue House / Dongdaemun Market 63 Tower / Wax Museum, 5D movie + Sky Observatory. We watched an horror 5D movie but it ended up as a comody, my mommy is very cute, she requested to be seated in the center and all of us surrounded her. And from the start till the end of the show, she was looking down with her eyes closed. In order not to scare her, none of us scream... we laughed through out the show... The tour guide even asked if the show that funny, cos he only heard laughter outside the cinema.

Girl's night out to Mengdong. Just 2 of us, the rest had went and deposit their money to the casino.
Day3: Nami Island / Kimchi Making & Phtography in Hanbok / Hot Spring Experience.
was told that your wish will come true when you stacking stones while making a wish on the island* and here's i wish My janelle ...

And our daily drinking session started, every day once we reached hotel, pop will give us 30 min to settled down and he went for his shower. Then our phone will ring... "hey, come over and drink... what are you guys doing.. so slow" At the end of this travel, we finished 4 bottles of Johnny Walker and countless bottles of beer during our lunch and dinner.
Day4: Dongwhasa Temple / Gooam Farm exprience: Apple harvesting, digging & roasting steaming of sweet potatoes

Pop saw the huge scallop and wanted to try.. but tour doesnt allow due to their budget... nevertherless, pop top up to add in additional dish for all of us.
Day 5: Cheongdo Wine Tunnel / APEC House / Nampo-Dong
Very nice BBQ beef.. but with the tour package, each of us have only one pc... we had pay additional to have more beef..
Day 6: Busan - Free & Easy in the morning / Visit fish market / Nampo Dong and had the worst dinner our of life.
The seafood are huge and fresh.. *yummy*
The worst dinner in my life... which made everyone boils.. even my pop..
throughout the trip, he and his lecture "dont be a person who always complaints... no standard..." and after this dinner, he told me "hua, write an email and shoot to the travel agency and goes all the way to the boss" haaa... as long as he is feed well, he is a high class person... once it is not... heeee..
and we ended up here to feed ourselves.
Day 7: Took a dosmetic flight back to seoul and transfer flight back to singapore.

With the amount of money we paid, due to small group + last min notice, we paid x2 of normal package. In return of the iternary, food and hotel stay that provided was sucked.. Lucky with great acommpanies, the trip wasnt that bad after all.
