Yesterday, kogan called me excitedly to tell me that there's donations made to our fundraiser for rainbow center. Yes!!! kogan asked me to provide some updates of his run to the page to thanks the donors.

I wrote this message this morning with a emotional after sending Janelle to school:

Thank you all for the support. Here's the update of Kogan's first 42.195km marathon:
He had under estimated the 42.195km and was under trained. by 30km he started to have leg cramp and by 35km he was having backache. The last 7 km is an experience that's difficult to put into words, it's the physical and mental challenges and this is what the special needs children is facing. Kogan managed to bite on the challenges and completed the run after 7 hrs and 10 min.

Many of us had under estimated the needs that required by special needs children. To us a normal person, to walk and run is nothing, but to them every step they are facing is as the challenges that kogan had faced at the last 7 km. i have witnessed that in rainbow center, it's really a mental and physical challenges to them. Many of our special needs come from communities that cannot afford the one on one specialized care and expensive equipment necessary for them to thrive.

Funding through your donations that make it possible for rainbow to provide special needs programs that's opening new vista for educationally, emotionally and physically challenged.
