First night with CCTV

Yesterday afternoon we got the CCTV up. The clearing up was a nightmare.. so messy.

This morning, i took 30 mins to look through yesterday night recorded screen.
I have impression that Janelle woke up at 2.30am for milk and was stayed awake till 5am and was patted to sleep by my MIL.
but i dont have the impression that i woke up at 6am to pat her sleep and put blanket on her. oh mine, not sure how much surprise things i will see on my CCTV.

We decided to spent $1300 to install CCTV in our house. Meeting the supplier for quotation tonight.

1. To monitor Janelle sleeping time
2. To monitor maid n Janelle when in the room
3. To monitor maid behaviour
4. To change maid stealing behaviour
5. Kogan can see us anytime when oversea

My MIL and Kogan complainted that lost their money over the weekend. How daring my maid.. This is not the first time, MIL is losing money. And they wanted to send her back and changed another new maid. We discussed last night on the pros-cons of changing new maid and how much money we need to spent again. And this morning kogan talks to MIL again on this matter. I'm open, if to change a new maid, i have to retrain everything again, else just need to be more caution. So i leave it to them. my only concerns is with Janelle, that's all.

MIL was talking to SIL, and SIL suggested that we keep the maid as there are risk that the new maid will steal too, install CCTVs instead to monitor the maid. Called up and checked the price $1300 for 3 CCTVs installed. if to install web-cam, it will cost around there too for 3 cameras. I quite aggreed to install web-cam, as it will come in useful to monitor Janelle seizure. At least we can show something to the doctors on Janelle Seizure patterns and record down when she had fits. kogan told me that the night before janelle went on fits at about 1am and i slept like a log, totally no idea of she fitted, and i just sleeping beside her. omg, make me feel so gulity. Will talk to kogan again and see whether to install anot.

Janelle ah Janelle ah.. she is down with fever and flu again.. haiz, brought her to see doctor and given medicine. These days weather are bad, and was on the news that H1N1 will gets worst in next 3 month due to the weather.. goodness seek.. janelle will be confined at home for the next 3 months.

Put Janelle back to nitrazepam at orginal dosage (2.5mg 2x aday), and noticed that she starts to drool and wakes up in the middle of night again.. uh huh.. now then i realised these 2 "bad hibits" are because of the drugs... tot my good days had comes, who knows back to square 1.

Updates of Janelle

KKH doctor recommended me new drug - Clobazam - she mentioned that although this drug is new in the market (about 10 years) compared to the drugs Janelle had been taking (100 to 80 years old in the market), research showed it has better tolerated and results with Janelle kind of epilepsy. But cos the drugs is not in the market for that longs, hence they cant tell what is the super long term effect. And ofcos it might not 100% workable on her, all drugs has to trial an error as it will react very different from others. I didnt commit to change the drug immediately, as my mind was not working that well on that day.

Today, seeing janelle having fits again, and read thru her epilepsy diary, it had been everyday... yes!! everyday after TTSH doctor asked me to drop Nitrazepam for 3 weeks and asked to put back again for 2 weeks now, it's tells me that "hey, mummy, you need to do something, what is the point keep doing the same things that it doesnt help at all"... and am thinking what is the harm to let her trial on newer drugs. I have 50% of chance that this newer drugs works on her since the old traditional drugs dont. "should i take the risk?" is the question running in my mind now.

Printed out some research papers on this drugs, will talk to kogan when he is back from work. My heart tells me to go ahead to try this drug, and it will works for her.... ** keeping my fingers crossed on this**our next appt is on 31 Aug, we will need to make a discision then.

Feeling very down

These few days, i have no idea why am feeling so down and things just not right.

I have give up with TTSH doctor for Janelle, dr had not been feeling very well and keep pushing the appointment back, and my girl had not been very stable after we dropped one of the drug. I have no idea what is the next steps and had been just waiting for the consultation for next steps, and she push the appt back again and again... I have enough of this. returned back to KKH and Janelle doc in charge is on leave for 2 months.. my goodness.. seee, things just not right.. The staff nurse just assigned me with one of the doctor on duty as Janelle really in need to see a doctor asap.

Yesterday I took a cab to KKH, when i was about to step out of the house, it started to rain... haiz.. Reached there early, and doctor was quite fast with her patient and was on schudele. And guess what, the patient just infront of me delayed the time, she took 1hr, and i waitied for an hr + before seeing the new doctor, and i have no idea why, i breakdown when telling her all my concern. Suddenly i feel that it is so painful to have a child like Janelle. Have to go through all these shit.. one after another. And just one trip to KKH $100 gone. haiz..

Today, no idea why too, scolded my MIL keeping carrying Janelle to feed her meals.. told her so many time, need to let Janelle seated in the chair when having meals. I want to let her know that is the table manner. I just said "Is us to teach her what to do and not baby to tell us what should be done" and she was so angry with me saying that she dont know how to take care of my baby, "this cannot and that cannot" and locked herself in the room. And my maid also get it from me, when i'm on the phone, she bring my girl downstair and chit chat with other maids... When i put down the phone, i cant find them, i was so panic and afriad something would happened to Jx, run downstair and saw her standing together with other maid talking happily. Pianz, i screamed at her in front of everyone saying that I can call the police saying you kidnap my child, without my permission and bring baby to somewhere else. screamed and shouted her all the way back home... pianz..

why am i so angry?? why?? need a break man.

Early in the morning, i went back to my mama place to collect birthday present for Janelle.. :) I dress Janelle up with the same top as mummy.. heee, kind of cute.. 1st time i wear "couple" top and is with Janelle.








Thanks YiYi, got Janelle a pair of very pretty converse shoe, but is kind of too big, so have to wait till next year birthday then can wear :)

In the afternoon, Joyce and Fabian dropped by. Joyce knitted a beanie and cardigan for Janelle. They are very nice very pro.. love it. :) I have washed it, will take a photo when Janelle is in it to show Aunite Joyce her hard work. Had a great time chatting with both of them.. I learnt alot from Fabian... thanks for your unselfishness sharing things with me.. Feel free to drop by anything for high tea over the weekend..

At night, we cut the cake with my mil and 2 nephews, i didnt want to wait for my bro in law and sis in law cos i know they will be very late and then might be janelle sleeping time. I love Janelle cake.. so sweet.. :)

Last day as a baby

This baby of mine becoming to one tomorrow. Woo. One year lo... It is not easy at all..

She woke up at 6as usual playing in her bed. When I open my eyes, I saw her reaching out for her pacifier on the bed and trying to put it in her mouth. I am very happy see that. ver good, well done, she starts reaching out. She is kind of slow in her development n I have been very worried. Janelle ah Janelle, you need to buckle up, and pick up those skill u missed asap.

She woke both daddy n mommy up, and we decided to wake up n go downstair for mcd breakfast. And today is the first time I let Janelle have outside food, she had mcd and she loves it.








This afternoon, I would like to bring Janelle to fridget again. Let her have some exercise. Hopefully will turn up fine.

Happy birthday Singapore but it just not my day.

Janelle first national day. And I planned a full day events for her. But now then I realised that I'm such a |<€¥¥*+% mom who never thought if Janelle can cope anot. Or things just not as I planned

My plans
1. Go back to mama place early morning to help mom on blood test.
=> bil maid came over n distrub my plan. My lazy maid trying to act smart and get kogan n myself pissed off. Haiz. Ended up I was very late and my mom break fast and can't take the blood test.

2. Fidgets
=> too late to put Janelle down for morning nap ended up she only had a very short nap. By the time we reached fidgets she fall asleep. Wasted my efforts. We went home without any play or exercise.

3. My bil place celebrating Kogan nephew birthday
=> she was very cranky. And we chop chop finish our dinner and return home.

After we reached home, I cleaned her up n settled her down for night sleep. Haiz. And she had fits again and keep waking up from sleep every min. I was very tired hoping to catch a short nap. But because of her I was fully awake with lots of gulity, angry, disappointment. I have to face these myself...

Now I wish to have beer to get myself drunk. Don't wish to face her.

Haiz. Kogan see me so upset n he asked me why. Keep asking me and I tell him a bit. In the end, he is affected and now he went out for a drink. He know his health. He should not drink. These just make me more gulity, more angry and more dusappointed

We have downgraded

We removed our bed frame and downgraded to the floor, to sleep with janelle. Janelle loves it, she can roll from our bed to her bed...

She is coming to one years old in 2 weeks time. But her milestone is still like a 7mth babies. Mummy never give up, will continue to work hard with her.

After dropping nitrazepem, her seizures starts to come back to once to twice every 2 to 3 days. and the seizures patterns changed. I will need to check with dr if that's a concern. will update again.
