Blood test:
Janelle just made her daddy and mommy so proud of her. She did not cry when the nurse draw blood from her... Yes, did not cry at all... my brave little girl. Daddy was carrying her, mummies was playing pee-a-boo with her while the nurse draw the blood. she can even play and laugh out loud with me.. cute..
rehab assessment:
during last week follow up with drC, he referred us to rehab center for assessment. there were 3 therapist to assess Janelle. 1) Speech and Language 2) physio 3) occupational. after the assessment, we will need to go for follow up session in 4mths, 1mth and 2 weeks time with each therapist.
Result of the assessment,
1) Janelle back is not strong enough that's why she still cant sit stable and seldom want to roll over.
2) When she is sit up, she is using energy to support herself hence she cant concentrate on playing with the toys etc.
3) lack of play skill, should let her play with more children and she will learn how to play... err.. this might be a problem, where got children??
4) Speech, is good that she speak but she should able to copy simple words like mum-mum which she still not able to. This we have to guide her and as for now, this is not the main concern cos she still young.
