Key Collection...

This morning, my MIL approached me and told us to move out... she don't want us to stay with her anymore.. And this marked and firmed out all the thoughts... WE ARE MOVING TO PUNGGOL

Noon time, we went for our key collection... finally.. collected the keys..

Procedure of key collection:

Items to bring:
a) bank passbook to settle some stuffs that will deducted thru GIRO
b) both ur ICs and
c) appointment letter
d) marriage cert

e) child birth cert

1) go to HDB level 2 to apply for Fire Insurance ($7 plus); we spent another $350 for 5 years comprehensive fire insurance.

2) go to HDB level 1's register counter for the Q numbers; and wait for the number to be called

3) in the room, you will sign sign and sign all the legal documents; decide how long to settle the loan, what is the % from both CPF, etc

4) go to HDB level 3 to make payment for conservancy charges abt 50+

5) go to HDB level 2 to apply for Singapore Power

6) go back to level 1 to return the receipt of (4) to the officer..

all will be done within 1hr...

We popped by punggol but didnt open the door as we are waiting for a good timing... so need to wait till tmr. :) *ren* we went to our shortlisted contractor chu from coos design for re-quotation for the renovation.. from renting out quotation 6K to moving in quotation 16K... it is additional 10K more.. wah...

we plan to do up

- grill for all windows

- add on a sliding windows to the service yard

- kitchen cabinet

- sliding tempered glass door for kitchen

- master bedroom and study room wardrobe

- false ceiling

- air con

The next one month we will be super busy and hopefully will be done before chinese new year..

MIL in action again...

28th December 2009, Tuesday..

No idea what happened to my MIL again.. haiz... my fear happens..

I was playing with janelle in the living room... and janelle went on high kneeing position and throw herself towards me.. i make way for janelle to have more space to do so.. MIL sitting on the sofa watching TV and she shouted -

MIL: Dont move your leg... let her climb on you...
ME: *ignore* and continue to play with Janelle
MIL: tell you dont move your leg and let her climb..
ME: *piss* she want to be on her knees and i'm making way for her..
HUS: ai ya, you watch your TV, dont need to give your commands to them.. let them play on their own
MIL: started to scream and shout again... all the woo ahhh again..
"you dont want to talk to me" ... "dont want to take care of janelle.. "
bah bah bah.. i also cant remember much... then my fear of words come out from her mouth.. "you all move out and dont let me see you then i will not says anything"
haiz, i knew it will happens and it is just a matter of time..
HUS: if you really want us to move out, u just say.. we can move out next month..
MIL went silent...


in the night, she complaint to SIL over the phone while we are in the room, she complained that we never take care of her... never ask her for dinner, never care of her, stay with son and dil always not happy, etc etc.. i overheard it and i went to kogan... let's move out...

And as today decision is to move out to punggol.. i dont mind to take care of janelle myself.. to help in house work and spent more time with janelle... then mentally torture by them..

EPIC is not suitable for Janelle??

23rd Dec, we had an appointment with KKH social worker for an interview for Janelle to attend the special school.. dont ask me why need to meet up with the social worker.. they dont have much details of what the school does, if janelle suitable anot, just asked us how we cope... My reply is "till now i cant cope, and i cant accept what had happens to janelle but do i have a choice??" she remain silent. maybe i find it is a waste of time for this interview and they arent flexible enough for appointment rearrangement and i had to wait 1.5 months for this interview., so wasnt very friendly to them.. however, she mentioned she will proceed to refer janelle to epic which is refer us to another org to refer us to epic... the whole process will takes about 3 motnhs, and we requested to push for january intake.. i really hope janelle can have much more improvement before CNY.

29th Dec, she called and says doc is not referring to epic for janelle however he refer janelle to IPPC (childcare for special needs) but this is only for children above 2.. and EPIC is only for more severe patients. so what does that means?? i get them go ahead with 2 programs if possible. if not, no choice lo...

Key Collection

after waiting for 3 years and 10 months, our flat is ready for key collection on 30 december 2009.

Sentosa

20th december 2009, sunday

During our way down to tuina, maid told me that my sis bringing 3Js to sentosa in the morning..

after tuina, seeing such a great weather and decided to pop by sentosa to join them and also for janelle to have a feel of sand and water.. :) although it is short one hr at tbe beach but it was great fun.... we will be back..

Meimei - Joelle

Guess you guys had see me blogging about Joelle... but wondering why her and not the other 2?

Let me tell you the story of Joelle, when Joelle is 18 months, she had virus inflection in her blood and causes non-stop of high fever, fever fit and she went into comma for a week which resulted meningitis... our family tears so much for her when she seeing her in ICU.. she stayed in hospital for about 1month, and only starts to recover after blood transplant. upon discharge, she lost her ability to walk, talk, sit and she had a brain damage of 40%.

today, about 2 years later.. she is back to normal.. she recovered very well.. all her development are back... very smart now.. we have been very proud of her.. she is very strong, and we had been through alot with her...

now, she is 3.5 years old.. she can read a story book to Janelle, teach my dad on how to use iphone, when she watched DVD she will cry with luo jia lang and hu xing er, she will come to us covered her mouth and says softly "i tell you a secret", asking me lots of "what is this?", copying how her grandma run to make us laugh, argue with me that i'm not mummy.. janelle to call me gugu... and ask me to call my mom "ah ma" cos only her mama is mummy... and definitely lots more of joy she had brought to the family. it is an endless list.. but just the few above can tell you she is cute right??
