Last friday, my mom went Genting Highlight with pop for some association gathering leaving 3Js to my bro and sil. But before she left, she requested me to sent BJ and MJ to tution center after school. Helper saw that sil was on leave that friday, hence she asked her to fetch them instead. But she returned with "Huh, noone tell me that i need to fetch them... i'm not free, dont want to fetch.. ask them take bus themselves."
BJ came to me and said she needs to stay back for extra classes and not able to go tution. I have been thru that stage, immediately i smelled something not right and with MJ there, "gu gu, i think jiejie bluf you". So i requested BJ bring me to see her teacher to get the confirmation. When BJ starts to tell me things, i more i want to see her teacher.
BJ: "ok... but gugu you want to come into the school will be very mafan, you need to go thru the front gate to get the pass"..
ME:"nevermind, then we just go thru the front gate."
BJ:"i lazy to walk"
ME: "nevermind, gugu drive over, dont need to walk"
BJ:"But teacher only comes in at 130pm"
ME:"nevermind, then we will wait for the teacher"
In the car, the story started to change again,
ME:"So, where will the teacher be?"
BJ:"In the library"
ME:" What? giving extra classes in the library?"
BJ:"no, actually is teacher in charge of the library asked me to stay over to learn how to use the new machine"
When meet up the teacher... as expected.. no such thing.. and BJ was trying her best to explain to me while i remains silent, I didnt scold her, i didnt lecture her.. I brought them for lunch and sent them to tution.
This is the age where they want to see the world, hang around with friends after school. But as a gugu, what can i do.. or what should i do... I went thru her stage, afterschool is either tution or go home.. is very boring.. weekend, parents always not avaliable to bring us out. So i started to hang outside after school refused to go home since i'm primary 4. But this is not i would like my niece or nephew to go thought. I keep telling myself, i need to respect her... the very least no screaming and shouting at her especially infront of her teacher and friends. But i need to meet the teachers as i want to let her know, dont lie to me... i can check with your teacher if i know something is up in your selves.
I think as a gugu, this is the most i can do. Over the weekend, i had tried to talk to her more.. ask her more about her friends.. interesting things she see etc.. what she is interested.. Need to build a closer bond and think of more activates to filled their life up.. Will bring them out more often over the weekend.

Kao Laundry Products
Following up my previous post of Winner for 1 year supply of kao laundry. I nearly thought it was a spam by KAO as there was no follow up emails and calls from them at all for the past 2 months. I had dropped them a couple of emails but with no reply. I gave them benefit of doubts that they are WIP for the month of aug and sept. By oct, i had gave up the hope and bought my laundry products off the selves. And when was clearing my email last week, the more i think the more i get angry with.. kanna cheaped by such a big company. Hence, I dropped them 3rd email to ask "IS THIS A SPAM EMAIL", and finally i got some reply. So it is not a spam. They had mistook another Yvonne who is staying in punggol as ME, and had sent her the 1 year supply. When they saw my email, the person in charge quicky called me and explained it to me. She promised me that she will get someone to sent the products to me within 2 days.. I reckon that as a good service recovery. :)

Getting ready for marketing
If you know my girl well, you will know she is a "pusher". She like love pushing things, it can be a chair, a box, basket, toys.. Basically anything. During her birthday, A & J got her a trolley.. And now she is our great help when doing marketing or helping mama to bring juices and milk up from SS.

2011 Children Day - Zoo Outing
If you noticed, Children’s Day has been moved from 1 Oct which we had grow up looking forward to this date to the first Friday of October (5th Oct 2011). From 2011, Children's Day will be celebrated on the first Friday of October, no longer 1st October in Singapore. Rainbow Center had organized a Children Day Outing to The Singapore Zoo. Hus requested me to bring Janelle there, to have more exposure in a crowd. This is the first time Janelle is joining the school outing, as i always worried about her nap time, meals etc etc... but this time, i think she is ready too.. Brought 2 adult tickets for myself and maid at a discounted price from rainbow, as not sure if hus would be in town anot, so i didn't get his. Should I say lucky Janelle, daddy is in town to bring her for her school outing. He got his ticket there from the zoo @ $19 ($20 with a 5% discount when used OCBC/UOB credit card).
And, Yes, she enjoyed the outing... she refused to take the pram and was running around the zoo. Following the teachers and children, it's very slow and we cant see much. So I told the teacher that we will bring Janelle to walk around in the zoo, we will meet them during snack time and animal shows time. It's really not easy for the teachers and volunteers to take care so many special needs children at one time. Each of them are tasked to 2 children. Usually those young ones will be accompanied with parents/helper.. so still manageable i guess.

If you wonder why only Janelle and Daddy, where's mommy and helper... We were there.. cos only mommy and helper wants to capture the moments down. Hus is not the person that will be the cameraman, he just want to be the model. Yes, he is very different from other daddy.. haha.. mommies was just too busy, carring bags, hankies, water and plan the route and time keeper... everytime after an outing, i will scold hus, see again, no pictures of mommy and janelle :(

BBCream for Sales
Hi Readers,
BB creams have been popular in Asia for many years now, as it has the advantages of both skin care and makeup to improves the skin's condition and evens out the skin tone while providing coverage for dark spots and other blemishes. Knowing the advantage, so when i was on holiday especially in korea, how can i dont grab them into my shopping cart. Ended up i guess i have overstock them from my korea trip. Most likely will be retruning to KR next year for E&N wedding + hus travels, dont think i need so much stock. Hence i'm keeping one year storage and letting the rest go.. Retail Price 30ml @ $80 in singapore counter. I bought a twin pack in DFS, so now letting go one tube 50ml @ $75
My colleagues were raving about Lancome products in the office and were telling me this bb cream is a must to have.
According to Lancome:

-sheer to medium coverage,
-has really nice and glowy, making the skin look more radiant.
- even my skin tone and come with decent staying power

Retail Price in singapore @ $52. I bought 3 free 1 in korea. Now letting go @$30
According to to The Face Shop:
A total skin treatment BB cream re-energizing the skin through power lifting, power moisturizing and power correction effects.Containing omega-3 and the Vita-skin Complex, the cream enables the skin tone to appear moisturized and radiant with a smoother skin texture. With an airy touch formula, it adheres in a thin layer as light as air yet flawlessly covers skin blemishes for a lustrous, healthy skin appearance.
My Thoughts:
It had sounded so great and nice.. tried their sample once and love the airy touch formula. So just before returning to singapore, popped over the shops and bought xx bottles. After giving out to friends, i still have a balance of 2 bottles to let go.

Simple Lifestyle Changes
After the skin analysis result.. knowing that my skin condition are in a bad shape now... I need to do something...
Looked around in my house, i found brand's innershine which was a gift from my sis-in-law before she get married. Yes, it had parked there for almost a year, i going to finish it just before it expired... hopes it can repair and replenish my skin inside out.. The taste of the berries is good.. sweet and smoothing.
Took out all the masks that i bought over the years but didn't have time to do it. Will do one mask each day daily.. from deep cleansing mask / collagen mask / moisturizer mask... With my 3 min passion, hope this time can last abit longer and recover my skin condition.
And now planning for Simple Lifestyle Changes
• Avoid caffeine/alcohol
• Sleep 7-8 hours per night
• Intake vitamins B,C,D,E -- will try to vitamins C daily, the rest hmmm will be from food intake i guess.
• Practice breathing exercises
• Exercise regularly -- reminding myself to play more with Janelle :)
• Eat a balanced diet -- had stop snacking on biscults, potato chips and changed to fruits
• Stay hydrated -- drink drink drink... soupy food will be my first choice from yesterday onwards. should put a bottle of water beside me at all time...
Next is to restore collagen, BABY SIS help me buy KING OF BEAUTY SUPPLE collagen back from Japan... PLEASE.. :) it is in tablet form, so not heavy.. I want 3 boxes. THANKS.

New York Skin Solution
Ever since i used NARUKO products, it seems that my skin is getting bad to worst. Now having 2 huge acne that need some solution to it. Come across "New York Skin Solution" website and took up their Internet promotion $18 for the 1st trial. No free lunch in this world, so i'm went there with prepared of hard selling.
They did a skin analysis for me, then i realised that i used the wrong range of products which made my skin condition so badly lately. I was told that my skin type are dry on the surface and oily internally. So oil control products does not suit me and will make my skin condition worst - dry become dryer and oily becomes oilier. From the skin analysis, it found that my body is losing collagen hence my acne's scar takes longer time to recovered by itself, opening pores etc. And those acnes i'm having are due to hormones changes and such acne can take up to months to recover especially on my skin condition now. Hence, they did a moisturising treatment for me. The process are more or less the same with other salon, but they dont use machines. ie: they dont use hot steamer to open up pores before extracting, instead they uses a softener mask to soften the whiteheads/blackheads. Personally, I find it made no different from i did at home... the reason i go over to salon for facial is because of the machines that helps to penetrate the products into my skin and maximum the skin absorbing. The environment is not relaxing at all, i can heard the next bed auntie complaining about her daughter, i smell coffee, i heard staff chit chatting. Another thing is their bed was so uncomfortable, it so firm and absorb heat... that 20 min waiting for the hard mask to be ready, it nearly kills me. I was there tossing non-stop. But one thing i have to say is that the consultant who did the treatment for me was very friendly. She did tells me every steps she's going to do to me. After the treatment, it was the horrible part, the hard selling. I told them that i need a couple days to see if there is any skin rejection on the products. Then there they goes... why don't you sign up a membership with us at $300 today and blur blur blur... When i tell her a very firm NO... she went out and get her supervisor in.. wooo... this is harder seller.. throw in alot of free stuff for me.. but i really dont like the environment so i didnt want to sign up. I was trying to be polite, so just says i need time to think about it and i will be back if i feel the treatment suits me.. but when she goes on and on non-stop... sorry but i have to be nasty in order to get out of the room... my last sentence was "sorry, i need to go.. here's the $18 for the today's treatment.. Thank You" and i stand up. they have no choice and let me off... The Supervisor changed her face immediately and dashed out the room without saying a thank you or byebye to me (the customer).. but the consultant was there beside me still very polite directing me to the counter for invoicing. When i stepped out of the rooms, i was stunned and kind of die die die, i was surrounded by 7 supervisors and while waiting for the invoice, they goes non-stop.. "why you don't sign..." i remains silent while waiting for them working on my invoice and treatment slip for me to sign. My consultant still very polite and passed me the sample as mentioned on the web. I get out the shop immediately once i signed get my invoice without looking bad again.
But this $18 i would says i had well spent it.. as it let me knows my skin condition better and i shall stop Naruko's oil control products immediately. Maybe get another set of Naruko's moisturising product. :)
