Janelle fever had gone. No more seizure and we are heading home today. The next two days will be stay home days. No outing over the weekend.

Still in kkh
Janelle fever was back yesterday night, so doctors wants to keep us in hospital till when she is 24 hrs no fever.
From this morning, her temp has back to normal. Praying hard that it settled and fever don't return.
Just now met hus teacher's, hus was telling her about jx condition. this is the second time I see him tears. I know it been hard on him too, i doubt he can accept jx with epliepsy. Every time he see jx on fits, that night will be a sleepless night for him. *patpat*

Admitted to kkh
24th november 2009, Tuesday
Janelle admitted to kkh due to high fever. Her temp was at abt 38plus for the whole day. Given medicine and monitoring. But seizure starts to break thru after 10 days of seizure free. Hus starts to get panic n admit her to kkh at 11pm. Upon admission her temp hit up to 39.4.
Now her temp starts to drop and maintain at 37.4.. But need to monitor for 24 hrs fever and seizure free before we can discharge.

Surprise present from hus
19th November 2009, Thursday
Hus called from Bangkok and ask me to stay at home from 3 to 5pm. He says he got a surprise present for me.
My first thought was wah! Gucci bag! But hus says no, it is more exp than a gucci bag and he refused to tell me what's that. Let my imagination went wild. Wondering if it will be a diamond ring or contractor to talk abt renovation.
At 3pm, door bells went off n my surprise present is here. And it is an office chair which cost $1700. It is an duorest chair with it's patented flexible hugging dual backrest mechanism, which is highly supportive for the back and ergonomically designed to reduce fatigue on the back, spine and thigh.
Hus seeing me having very bad ache this week due to long hours at work. So he bought it for me. :) sweet

小儿推拿
Mummy had came to last resort, brought Janelle to 小儿推拿 at bukit merah recommended by KA's mom who I got to know from forumn.
When I called the Chinese phsycian he, she told me that 推拿 will help in controlling fits and will let the child rest well. But this is not one time ok treament, we have to be patience and it had to be long term. And since jx comes 8 months late, she will need even longer period to see improvement. So mummy tot, as long as improvement can Liao. And afterall I have tried so many methods, one more also doesn't make much of the different.
So took half day n went for 小儿推拿. This will required weekly visit and has to be weekday cos she had fully booked for all weekends. Guess soon I will kanna fired by my boss, everyone busy like hell and I keep applying leave. No choice jx is number 1 and work come 2nd.
He helps jx to massage her hands, body, back, face, head and leg. She did more on jx right hand as I told her from EEG, it shows that the admormal waves are from left brain. When he message jx back, she laughed. Guess she is very shock... Haaa.. Jx is tired but can't sleep cos he is touching her. After the message session, once I put her in the car seat, I gave her pacifier, on air con and less than 5 sec she falls a sleep. Hmmm since like it really helps her to settled down easier.
Heee, in order to let her feel comfortable, we brought all her barang barang there: her smelly pillow, blanklet etc.

This morning, Janelle shouted "奶" and causes agrument from my maid and my mil.
MIL told me jx called her "奶" but my maid says no, she says "Niceee".
haaa.. no idea is lofeng's 奶 or nice...

Crawling
There are 2 says about crawling:
1. Some adults are concerned that children who don't crawl in the traditional way will be less coordinated. This is a myth. As long as the baby begins to move across the floor using each arm and each leg, there is no cause for concern. The truth is many babies never crawl!
2. Crawling has also been linked to later reading skills. Crawling uses cross-lateral motions which cross hemispheres in the brain. These cross-lateral skills are also used when reading as your eyes track across a page. Treatment for children with developmental co-ordination disorders often includes crawling and rolling over on the floor.
