Janelle voice is back

after a week, janelle voice is back. i think is because she screamed and shouted for too long n too loud. great to see her alright. :)

today my mil asked me n janelle to accompany her to gugu's grandchild full month celebration. ai yo, i have a cranky bb, once she reached there, she cried for sleep. She was like announcing her arrival.. loud and clear.. pianz. lucky managed to put to sleep after a while n have my lunch. she woke up n play with me n her 2nd bro for a while after lunch. when we heading back, her cranky-ness starts again. she cried for 15 min... i see my mil cannot tahan n she dont know what to do. haiz. my mil gave her milk she dont want, pacifier also dont want, water also dont want. once reached carpark, mil reached home n put her into sarong... but is time for milk. haiz. i pick her up from sarong n give her a feed n put her to bed. guess my mil has no choice and let me handle her.

During the lunch, i looked around, there are a few babies.. omg.. they are so good... they wake up and play, fall asleep on their own when they are tired.. noone are like my cranky girl. I really dont know how to bring her out on my own.

Renewing of Wedding Vows

Yesterday when i'm driving to work, suddenly this super mummy came to my mind. there is this mummy who org a dinner to gather all their guests to renew their wedding vows with them on their 5th wedding ann. I think this is kind of cute and sweet.

then this strike me... if all jan 2007 couples (in the SGBrides) get together to renew our wedding vows, it will be more interesting. haaa... as we worked together for our wedding and supported each other thru our big day preparation in 2007.

If there is such a day, all couples might be bringing along all their kids... heee.. might be quite a mess.. haaa.. instead of romantic.

a day after work

After a long day at work, i would wish to spent time with my janelle.

So what i usually do is to bring her into our room... I will sponge clean my girl, once after sponge clean she would want to take a short nap while i quickly so and take my shower and dinner. when she woke up, i will talk to her, read her story and tummy time. by 9.45pm will put her in sarong to make her sleepy by 10pm, no matter she fall asleep anot, i will pull her out of sarong and gave her the last feed and put her on the bed.



yesterday tummy time is cute, i turned her over and she strugged for a while to get her comfortable position and refused to move anymore... sucking her hand comfortablely for 5 min. as usual her nei nei will come into our room to "recuse" her from tummy time. my mil always says she is not comfortable in such position or she will says she like it and carry janelle out of the room or away from me.

and yesterday i told her
me: this is one of the way to train her back and neck muscle.
mil: i always carry her upright, she like sitting on my tummy.. and in this way she also can trainned her muscle.
me: she is resting on u... not trainning
mil: see, her neck is also stable now

dont wish to argue with her.... so i keep quiet. guess in future, i will just need to lock the door up.

Janelle is sick again..

Sob sob sob :( Janelle is sick again. I though baby on breastfeeding will be fit and not fall sick so easily.

Sunday after janelle's afternoon nap, she lost her voice. Now she is in her hoarse voice.. i'm so worried and insist to bring her to PD in monday morning instead GP. haiz, that stupid PD cant diagnose out anything.. just say is normal.. how can it be normal and i questioned the PD?? she says throat is ok, no infection, lung is ok.. she cant think of anything that causes it to happen. Then she gave me a referral letter to spec, and she wrote there her diagnose is normal but worried mother insist to seek for spec advice. kns, why dont she says she useless and dont spot any problem. I spent so much money for her consultation and leave me suspend in the air like that. still worring for my girl.. haiz

Motherhood to me is the scariest, hardest, most stress filled and wonderful thing I have ever done.

Back to work

Return back to work...

Had returned to work since 7th Nov but requested to work from home from 7th Nov till 14th Nov, as my mil went to TW for holiday. Yes, she choose to go holiday when she knows that i returning back to work.

In office, need to pump for my girl next day supply.
My girl need at most 4 to 5 feeds in the day when i'm at work.

My girl drinking pattern:
7am - if she is able to wake up at 7am, then i will latch.
10am
1pm
4pm
7pm - if am able to reach home by 7pm, then i will latch.
10pm - formula
4am - latch (hoping she will cut this feed).

So my pumping schedule will be
11am - in office
4pm - in office
10pm - at home

usually 3 pump is enough for 4 feed. if not, then i will pump after janelle 4am feed. so far so good but tiring. hopefully work stress dont reduce the flow.
