This is one of the atas dinner i had been with my family.. this meal costed my one month salary.

Financial Planning

I'm not an insurance person cos i thought such things wouldnt happened to me.. not till years back when SJ was admitted to hospital and witnessed how the hospital bill sucked dry my bro 15 years of medisave. Since then i bought my first insurance for hospitalisation. Then after the car accident, hus got me an accident insurance and critiea illness for me from his friend's friend from P. And on my 2nd accident when i hurt my eye, im covered and managed to claims all the bill from eye specalist. Immediately after janelle born we bought her hospitalisation insurance. And Thank God all her hospitalisation bill are being cover since her first fits till now. Even now we wanted to get more for Janelle, we cant due to her medicial consider. But at least she is covered with minimum.

Couple weks ago, we first meet up with one of our chruch mate who is the director of a independant financial firm.. he shared that he is the million table board etc etc.. that almost bored me out. Yesterday we met up with him again, he revised all plans i have and did a revamp on almost all policies i having to have a greater coverage and same amount of premium im paying now. He did shared that cos our friend are represent the insurance co, so what he can offer is what the best his co can offered but not what is the best in market. Unless i have the time and knowledge to compare one by one, to decide which to take up. And with the market movement, more better plans are coming up to catch hold of policy holder.. So once a while, still need to revised whats on hand works for u anot? When it comes to financial planning, i leave it to my hus and expert in this area to work out what's the best they can offer for me.

Are you an insurance person? My advice get it when when u can. If revision needed, talk to you planners soon before its too late.

Blessed and loved

Had been complainted but my hus so much that i something forget his good... im going to blog down small little loving things he did to remind myself im blessed and loved. Let's start with this milo...

Me: why waste money getting packet milo?
He: This is for my wife who always rushing to ferry janelle and always skip breakfast. With this, u can take one packet and drink in the car whenever u r rush...

Was requested to return to work in office for the past one month for the new role and project i took up. Before married, i love to shop and buy clothes and shoes almost every weekend. After married, i stopped buying so much shoes cos my mil will nag. After have Janelle and started to work from home, i stopped doing shopping for myself. Once a while, when to de-stress then only do online shopping once and then, at times to pick up my sis's hand down but her clothes are too much that i dont have time to dig.

Set a little challenge for myself to see how far my wardrobe can bring me without duplicate the top/dress i have. :) Not too bad bah, a working from home mummy still have a wardrobe that can last me for six weeks.

Baby Sis Wedding

Finally the big day for the bride who has full of wedding ideas.. till that very day she was still very busy sorting things out. The day before i was tasked to run errands for her wedding preparation, fetching my mom to get a gold ring for the groom, my nieces to get their shoes, flora to get flowers for the bride.. returning home late at night helping her to ensure all things were in place.

Popped over early morning after prepared Janelle for school. The very first thing i reached, one of the sisters and calling me for help... Guess what, she burnt her evening gown when she is ironing. Thank God not my sister evening gown :) When i looked at that hole, i was like... "hmmm.. i dont know how to help, go and find a tailor." When i was doing my make up, i heard lots of screaming from the dinning room, i took a quick look its the fear factors that the sisters prepared for the gate crashing with worms and frogs.. OMG.. dont know who are they trying to scare the brothers or themselves. :)


Next moment, before i can really sit down to catch my breath, my brother came and told that he broke one of the sister's shoe when he try to help her to expand the shoe. Asking me for help... 

After all the Up and Down in the morning preparation, finally i have time to take photos for my baby sis.

Before the solemnization starts, all brothers and sisters are busy with dolling themself up and also the reception area with desert bar, photo booth, photo gallery and the reception area. And i was one of them. This is what we done:

Guess this day was the day i heard the most "You 2 looked alike", "Dont need to introduce, we can tells you are Celine's Sister", "I was wondering why a bride sitting at the reception when the first i was you" and lots more. No doubt, we are from the same factory.

Was so busy with all my travelling, and forgot to get myself some jewellery to match my dress.. Last min, got this on flight. :)

The photo booth, i didn't know that now even the aunties and uncles are into taking photos at the photo booths... when watching the photos that flashed over, i saw more aunties and uncle group photos then the young one.

There should have more photos to be taken, but i was so busy that day... running here and there coordinating at the reception.. and welcoming the guest so missed out the chances of taking photos. But indeed it a memorable wedding...

Brave Maeve

Since our last musical lion king, hus and i were invitied to a charity inspirational musical based on real life story of maeve low. Maeve was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 3 and now she is 7 and cancer free and she took part in the play sharing the story written by her mother to help her understand cancer - a tale of poisonous stone, soldiers fighting inside her, and the courage to overcome adversities. Indeed its inspirational and it a muscial that tells my story too. I have been thru what they been thru, so i can relate and all screen had triggered my tears. Guess one thing we are more blessed is that we dont to worry about the finance during our hospital stay as hus bought insurance for janelle as early as she was born.

Not easy but its over for them. God healed maeve and things are back in place.

Maeve's mom had put this into muscial for to raise fund to Children's Cancer Foundation and Viva Foundation for children with Cancer. She had ever publish the book brave maeve on the story written by her to explain about cancer. This book also avaliable in apps.. support support support.

Woman doing man's chores

Don't really like to use superglue cos will easily stick on my fingers without noticing it till it dried up. But letting a woman to run the man chore, superglue is our best friend to fix broken items.
