Porn's sexy Thai food.

Yesterday had a great fellowship with A @ Porn's. We mocked this restaurant last week and planned to try on our next meetup. The name of restaurant is "blessing" and the owner is Pornsak from mediacrop.

The food is nice especially the lemongrass drink, so much better than Thai express. But I find it expensive, we spend about $50 for 2.

They have the interesting interior design. A tutu hanging behind me.






The lemongrass tea really captured my heart. Initially I find it too sweet, but after the meal and the spicy-ness comes, the drink is awesome, perfect. The prawn cake also very nice, together with Thai sweet chilli, it brought out the flavor of the prawn.




I don't mind to be back again. Next visit, I shall bring my hus and inlaw to try.

A weekend filled with love

On the 9th March 2013, it marked the big day of Mr SS, a long awaited proposal for my baby sis. This silly girl waited and waited and waited for his proposal since they made the downpayment of their house. Without this proposal, she refused to start planning of her dream wedding.
It's a theme of Les Miserables musical with a underwater world proposal. This is the 3rd Proposal RWS had planned. Mr SS requested me to be there, he says my sis will be really touched if she see us. But we need to be there by 8am for rehearsal. goodness me. For her, no choice :) He invited 20+ of their friends to sing a song from Les Miserables, and he will pop his question.

















On 10th March 2013, it's my BFF big day. From the way A had handle and plans the wedding, taking care of J's siblings, and his speech, i know that she did not choose the wrong man. Quote from her sibling, "he is different from all her lan tao hua."

December'2012 Sight Seeing in Singapore

This is an long overdue post that i wanted to do but with the busy schedule and laziness, delayed and delayed till now.

December'2012, during my one week xmas shutdown last year, i brought janelle and helper to tour around in singapore that i always wanted to go. Due to hus was preparing his exam paper, he only managed to join us one day.

A Trip to RWS S.E.A Aquarium

Singapore latest tourist attraction at Resorts World Sentosa, the Marine Life Park,opened on Nov 2012 which brought my curiosity to check it out. It is labeled as World's Largest Aquarium as it claims to has the biggest water tank in the world which contains over 800 species of marine animals, swimming in almost 12 million gallons of water. It also houses the world’s largest single viewing panel —  approximately 118 feet wide by 27 feet tall.

Janelle enjoyed the aquarium, throughout the journey of the aquarium, she went "Wa!". 

Mummy: "Janelle, sharks"

Janelle: "Wa"  

Daddy: "Janelle, you see, so many nasi lamak's fishes swimming around" 

Janelle responded with "Wa!".

Helper goes "Janelle, you see up there", she also responsed with "Wa".. 

Very cute of her. :)

A trip to see Merlion

My helper requested to see the merlion, so here we go. Another cute cute action by my cutie pie. I was telling her this is our singapore icon, Merlion... and she went "booo..." blowing saliva out of her mouth.. For that day, whoever asked her about Merlion, she went "Booo..."

 A trip to the Zoo to see JiaJia and Kai

Another newly open tourist attraction The Singapore Zoo's Giant Panda Forest enclosure where Singapore Celebrities Pandas from China- KaiKai and JiaJia lives. The area is kept at 18-22 degrees Celsius so the pandas stay cool and a 50 per cent humidity level so they don't get sluggish, and each visitors can only have 15min to view the Panda's.

This was an embarrassing trip, my little cutie pie was hungry hence a bit cranky when we are in the enclosure. Zoo Keepers came up to us and showed us the "Shhh... Please be quiet sign." OMG, so embarrassing. Quickly brought her out and got her Panda Bun before we get out of the Zoo for lunch. I didn't managed to get nice photos with the panda, but leave my helper with XJ to take photos for each others. 

Not a cheap holiday, but indeed is a enjoyable and eye-opening holiday we had. 

Cable Cars Rides

Last month, hus was in good mood and brought us for Cable Cars Rides into Sentosa for a short day trip. *blessed family trip*.

The theme for the Cable Cars are Angry Birds which i never like this bird. I never understand why parents introduced Angry Bird to their children. What is their intention? Teaching the kids when you are angry, hit the stupid pigs hard so that they are destroyed? I can only says Time has changed, instead of teaching the children about LOVE, parents are teaching them about ANGRY. This is so so wrong. Because i dont like the theme, so we didnt go round taking photos with the birds.

Recognition

It had been a "wonderful" 4 months to step in a lead role. Thank God for the strength and wisdom granted that helped me thru the role and received praise and recognition in yesterday department coffee talk. With the limited resources and overwhelmed workload, under the spotlights from leaders, auditors and the region, on our delivery.. Thank God that i managed to deliver up to my boss standard. *Giving a Pat to myself for all the midnight oil had burnt".

Under my management, maybe i'm too task org and stretching the team to their max, very very grateful to them who worked with me to achieve the goals. But the most regrets is that one of the teammate resigned under my management. Was very upset and emotional when i first heard the news, but i know God has a plan for her. Wishing her all the best.

Lunch alone..

Don't know if age is catching up or too many things running around me.. I starts to enjoy having lunch alone, quietly and peaceful:)
