Celebrate Mother's Day with HFMD

Planned to celebrate Mother's day with my mom and my siblings and 3js on Saturday at East Coast Park over simple picnic.

But who knows janelle is down with HFMD. She developed rashes on her hand and foot after Friday Childcare session. Doctor spotted ulcer in her mouth and had confirmed this is HFMD. According to Doctor generally, hand, foot and mouth disease is a mild and short-lasting illness. Treatment is usually not needed as the body's immune system clears the virus and symptoms go away after about 7 to 10 days. No medicine given, just need to monitor her closely and try our best to ease her discomfort. On Friday, she was in great discomfort, lost appetite and refused to eat and drink. She is given 10 days sick leave. Thanks god, she is much better the next day. And since this is contagious, so we are going to stay home for the next one week. MIL heard that Janelle was down with HFMD and knows that hus is not in town, she rushed over to my place and stay overnight.

Quickly informed the schools of Janelle so that can do through disinfect all classroom facilities and all toys. Discovery Garden @ Cactus are in very fast actions, they have disinfect classroom and  toys on sat shortly after I have informed the school and parents had been informed via email on Sat.





Very kind hus given me half day off on Sunday to run some errands, manicure and pedicure session and had a early dinner with my mom and family.

Bought this for my MIL, hope she will likes it. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!:)

Before I was a mom

Before I was a Mom -
I slept as late as I wanted and never worried about how late I got into bed. I treatment my hair and mask my face everyday. I went holiday as and when I like.

Before I was a Mom -
I dont have to clean my house each day. I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby. I didn't worry about what to eat. I never thought about immunizations.

Before I was a Mom -
I had never been puked on - Pooped on - Spit on - Chewed on, or Peed on. I had complete control of my mind and My thoughts. I slept all night.

Before I was a Mom -
I never held down a screaming child so that doctors could do tests...or give shots. I never looked into teary eyes and cried. I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin. I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.

Before I was a Mom -
I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put it down. I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt. I never knew that something so small could affect my life
so much. I never knew that I could love someone so much. I never knew I would love being a Mom.

Before I was a Mom -
I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body. I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby. I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child. I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important.

Before I was a Mom -
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay. I had never known The warmth, The joy, The love, The heartache, The wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom. I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much before I was a Mom.

iPhone - not able to download apps."Waiting"

I'm having the problem of downloading apps and apps updates since i updated my ios. The apps are in "waiting" for days, checked Internet connection, no problem with that. Argh..

Finally today I found the solution.
Just need to log into option->store and re-entered the apple id. And the download back to normal.

If you are facing the same problem as me, hope this help.

Tingkat services

Had been on Tingkat services since January when i got my new maid. My new maid need me to provide her with prepare her with all the ingredient in the right portion, recipe and she will takes 2 hrs to cook... and 1 hr to clean up. So thinking to change another approach, where she full time on house work which I will more demanding as compared as previous maid and full time on janelle.

We tried Kim's Kitchen. Their meals were horrible. The dish are so salty, and feel thristy after eating. The soup is like water or clear stock then add a few piece meat. Not sure why quite a number of mommies recommended their service. Stopped their service after 1 week trial.

We are back to HilltopKB. So far so good. I ordered for 2 pax, and i will add on a fish dish and it's more than enough for 3+1.

After these few months of Tingkat, noticed that actually i have save quite abit from groceries shopping and gas consumation too. In the past, whenever we go supermarket the minimum spending is $100 every week and we will stock up lots of food and snacks. Now, only weekend and mid weekday i will go and shop for fresh fish and fruits.
