First wedding lunch

Yesterday had my first wedding lunch ever with my family.

Wedding lunch is very tiring. We reached there at abt 1, and reached home at 530. What a long day.

Mid might woes

Janelle is now trying to talk. Ta ta ta, ya ya ya, ti ti ti...

About 3 weeks ago, Janelle starts wake up in the middle of night singing song at high pitch (screaming n shouting.) Yes! and her volume is not soft. We have tried all ways, telling her not to sing song in middle of night. Give milk. Give water. Talk to her. Even her 奶奶 tried to bring her over and talk to her nicely. But every night, she still wake up sing song n playing with herself.

2 days ago, hit my nerve after so many days of sleepless night. I gave her a slap her when she scream, of cos is light slap on her cheek. She starts to tone down n talk to herself instead.

Yesterday night, my girl starts to fight with me. Now she know how to sit up by herself. So when I put her down to sleep, she will sit up herself n play. Haaa, not easy to put her to sleep now. But I'm glad that she can do it.

Now she is very cute. She knows that I'm angry with her. She tried to make me happy. She tried to roll over n laugh with me... Usually when she do it, I will play with her n cheer her up. But yesterday she do it, I didn't cheer her... She tried a few times till I laugh... Then she roll over to my side n pat me... Heee, trying to make me smile.

Updates of Janelle

8th October 2009, Thursday

Follow up with KKH doctor. As Janelle suddenly developed rashes yesterday night, doctor has concern with it, and she dont want diagnosed anything as she is just the stand in doctor from janelle doc in charge was away. And she will be transfer out to private sector, so not able to follow up closely on Janelle. So, she transfer us back to our first doctor in charge who had just returned from 3 months break and will be follow up with Janelle more closely for near future.

No sure what kind of rashes janelle had, heat rashes/allergies rashes?? doctor himself also dont want to have any adjustment of medication dosage. but he wants janelle to go through another EEG again and see if brain wave had changed when the pattern of fits changes. Next appointment is on 22nd Oct, EEG with Doctor conclusion.

Looking at Janelle slow development, doctor ask if we are interested to sent Janelle to EIPIC - Early Intervention Programme for Infants & Young Children. EIPIC is a center-based programme that provides social, educational and rehabilitative services for children aged 0-6 years diagnosed to be at risk of having a handicapping condition or special need that will affect his or her development. I checked the website and saw the photo gallery, it's mainly for retarded kids, which gives me a shivers and "Does Janelle needs this??" I have dropped an email to the center to find out more, and hopefully can drop by the center to see if it suits janelle anot.

Mummy at work

世上只有妈妈好！I called my mom up over the weekend and asked her to take care of Janelle as i need to be in office for Training this week. Without giving a second words, "好！你带她来" and she arrange sil to pick up her grandson and granddaughter from school instead.

Janelle were in ahgong's place for 3 days (6th to 8th October). I dropped her in the morning 730am and pick her up in the evening 7pm.. She and my maid just love to go over to ahma's place, for my maid is because noone nags/scold on her and have my mom's maid chat with her... For janelle, it is because there has 姐姐 plays with her.

Today, my mil tells me that she see abit improvement in Janelle after these days at ahgong's place, when she sees janelle starts to talk. Just now, I asked jx.. "Do you want milk milk", she replied "要".. and i went off to make milk for her... but she didnt finish the milk and fall alseep. out of 100 times, she will replied 1 time.. better than nothing. :)

I always dont really likes the way that my mom take care of kids, we are growed up in sarong, no proper eating seat, etc.. but compare to my mil, she is doing a lot much better jobs... kidswill behave themselves under her care.. no idea why.. and i told mummy no sarong, meals had to be in high chair, my mummy just follow.. for my mil, she says "i take care of so many kids, dont need you to teach me what to do".. so i always says my mummy is the best.. thank you mummy.

Trial Class @ bibinogs

3rd October 2009, Saturday

Joined in with SingaporeMotherhood's forum in the trial class @ bibinogs. Nice meeting up the babies and mummies who i had been chatting for a year plus. :)

Overall, i find the class was so-so only. It is more to study where they teaches a,b,c to 1 yr old kids.. You can see the kids were running around the class instead of listening to what the teachers teach, except for Janelle.. She was there looking at the teachers, not sure if she is stoning or paying attention to the teachers. Janelle indeed enjoyed the accompany of babies... haaa.. she had been looking at them, screaming and shouting in the class.

Personally i prefer mygym, where allows Janelle playing around and explore with games and activities. I do understand is good to start learning from young, but wouldn't it be too young now?? Today is in a kaisu world, where all the parents want their child to be growing up gifted. Told myself, dont be kaisu mummy. They will learn when they are really. Guess these few years are the only time when we don't have to worry about a,b,c.. why stress janelle now?

war with MIL

2nd October, 2009 Friday...

It's a friday!! Yeah... Always looking forward for Saturday cos i can have fun with Janelle in her class again.

But my MIL spoiled my Friday mood.. what a #$%^&*... when i woke up, i told myself, it's a friday.. cheer up.. the next minute, i heard my MIL complaining to hus that i'm blaming her.. and starts scolding me at my back.. pianz, i not blaming her, i just tell her not to do so... the best thing is hus just listen and never help to explain.. anything la... she says i blame her, then i blame her la... no strength to argue with her.. the best she gets super angry and move over to bil/sil place.. don't wish to see her or talk to her...

Dear... I WANT TO MOVE OUT... HATE TO BE IN THIS SITUATION... 相处容易，同住难。

OT

1st October, 2009 thursday

Today went to kkh for OT. According to the therapist, Janelle is associate with the wrong technique hence she is not able to sit up, crawl n walk. She wants us to start her training from day 1, teaching her how to roll over n sit up by herself.

After OT, went U2 for a walk. Wanted to get Janelle some clothes. Janelle was a bit cranky cos she wanted to sleep. So i ask the maid to sit out n feed herilk wjile i quicky go n do some shopping. After I finished one level, hus says let's go home n let Janelle rest. I went home with empty handed but Kogan managed to get a gift set for his colleage.

Reached home, told my mil what the therapist says. Then I ask her to stop pulling her up as she learn the wrong techique from there. Ended she blamed us, saying that we are the one who keep pulling her, she said she already told us not to do that. N she blame me that I keep pushing her forward. I gets so pissed off n I shoot her back. I pushed her forward is to let her know she need to use her hands to support herself in order not to fall. But everymorning u r the want who 123 pull her up. Then guess what she gets angry. And the same old things happens again. Making a big fuss n says she want to hands off Janelle. In front of me, she using mardrain to says bad abt the maid. In front of the maid, she use malay to scold me. Pianz.

God, give me a break!! I'm already so stress up. Please stop all these nonsense... I'm sick of these.
