First Chinese New Year

This year is Janelle's first chinese new year...

Told kogan our plan:
10.00am janelle will wake up, bath and milk
10.30am head down to his grandma place
11.45am had to left and head down to my mama place
12.00pm janelle need to be feed n and sarong to sleep

but he and mil dont believe it and want to test janelle..

so,

10.00am Janelle wake up, bath and milk, waited for janelle's gugu to come over
11.15am head down to kogan grandma place
12.10pm janelle starts to scream her lung out (noone dont know about janelle now), refused bottle.. i have no choice but to rush into a room and latch her. finally she calmed down... immediately we head down to my mummy place and put her into sarong for her afternoon nap. this is one of the very bad points of sarong..

when she woke up, she went over to my grandma place.. i placed her on the sofa after her milk, she looked at the fan and laugh out loud.. heee.. cute.. she enjoyed the accompany with uncle long and gong gong kiat but not my gugu and shen shen.. heee..

First day: Janelle earns $544 of angbao.. woo.. quite good.. and this amount will go into her saving account. :)

Just enjoy being in arms.

Mummy brought me to north point to get this headband for chinese new year..

Returned home, mummy cant wait to try it on for me..

A Night Out with the girls

Clearing my maternity leave this week from 19Jan to 23Jan (Balance 20 days). I will be having care of Janelle and my MIL went to salon to help.

Tonight took a night off and went for Cinderella Musical Play at esplanade with Jess and Amanada. MIL was too busy at salon so kogan and the maid take care of Janelle. But in the end, Kogan is in the study room rushing for his work and the maid took care of Janelle.

Before the Play, we have indian food @ Mirchi Taste of India. Yes Indian food, when i heard jess telling me they are at esplanada Level 2 Indian's restaurant over the phone, i was so surprised. heee, ppl who know jess will know that she not into such food. She perferred Jap food, HK food those that are light in taste. But not too bad, the food served was quite good. Total bill was abt $70 for 3.

When they first saw me in the restaurant with my new hairstyle, heee.. they said it was so much better :) look younger. haaa... i have to admit, after i have janelle, i dont have the time to really take care of myself. by the time she sleep, what i want is to sleep too.. to caught back all those hours of sleep i need. and over the 5 months, i realised that i've aged alot and kind of very messy in look. no time to shop, no time to makeup... remind me of a sentence, this world there is no ugly ppl but just lazy ppl.. guess am just lazy... finding so much excuses.. haaa

at 阿嬤's house

bought janelle over to my mama place with kogan. while janelle is having her morning nap, me n kogan went to waterloo's street to pray n do some quick shopping. when returned home, mummy told me tat janelle didnt sleep at all. she even play with gong gong till laugh out so loudy... guess she had made ah gong day.. :) Janelle, you again made you mummy so proud of you.

Took 6-in-1 + Rotavix

Bought Janelle for 6-in-1 and rotavirx with Dr Lee this morning. when waiting for her turn, she fall asleep on her daddy's chest without any crankyness... omg... this is the first time.. am so pround of her.. :)

Review with Dr Lee:
1. Dr commented that janelle is taking too little milk as she should be taking 150ml every 3 hrs, instead of 120ml every 3to4 hours. and once she able to take more in the day, she should be able to sleep thru the night. if by 6 month, Janelle still wake up in the mid of night for milk, this will then continue for another few years.
[Yvonne] OMG... how to improve her intake in the day??? make the milk bottle nipple's hole bigger so that she can drink faster and more? give her milk more often? hmm.. i also dont know how?? any advice??

2. Recommended to start cereal from 6 months.. but it was ok to start from 5 1/2 months cos the first 2 weeks are mainly to a waste, they would usually play and learn how to swallow during this stage.
[Yvonne] went to read up a few websites for weaning. need to start planning.. Will post my plan up later.

3. Janelle's size are more towards above average
[Yvonne] will she be a big girl? oh no...

We have to wake her up for rotavix and 6-in-1, she is kind of cranky.. who ask us distrub her sleep.. hee... when she was jab with the 6-in-1, she cried for like 2 sec and stopped after mummy and daddy sayang her.. heee... good job janelle... you did us proud. :)
