Janelle fever had gone. No more seizure and we are heading home today. The next two days will be stay home days. No outing over the weekend.

Still in kkh
Janelle fever was back yesterday night, so doctors wants to keep us in hospital till when she is 24 hrs no fever.
From this morning, her temp has back to normal. Praying hard that it settled and fever don't return.
Just now met hus teacher's, hus was telling her about jx condition. this is the second time I see him tears. I know it been hard on him too, i doubt he can accept jx with epliepsy. Every time he see jx on fits, that night will be a sleepless night for him. *patpat*

Admitted to kkh
24th november 2009, Tuesday
Janelle admitted to kkh due to high fever. Her temp was at abt 38plus for the whole day. Given medicine and monitoring. But seizure starts to break thru after 10 days of seizure free. Hus starts to get panic n admit her to kkh at 11pm. Upon admission her temp hit up to 39.4.
Now her temp starts to drop and maintain at 37.4.. But need to monitor for 24 hrs fever and seizure free before we can discharge.

Surprise present from hus
19th November 2009, Thursday
Hus called from Bangkok and ask me to stay at home from 3 to 5pm. He says he got a surprise present for me.
My first thought was wah! Gucci bag! But hus says no, it is more exp than a gucci bag and he refused to tell me what's that. Let my imagination went wild. Wondering if it will be a diamond ring or contractor to talk abt renovation.
At 3pm, door bells went off n my surprise present is here. And it is an office chair which cost $1700. It is an duorest chair with it's patented flexible hugging dual backrest mechanism, which is highly supportive for the back and ergonomically designed to reduce fatigue on the back, spine and thigh.
Hus seeing me having very bad ache this week due to long hours at work. So he bought it for me. :) sweet

小儿推拿
Mummy had came to last resort, brought Janelle to 小儿推拿 at bukit merah recommended by KA's mom who I got to know from forumn.
When I called the Chinese phsycian he, she told me that 推拿 will help in controlling fits and will let the child rest well. But this is not one time ok treament, we have to be patience and it had to be long term. And since jx comes 8 months late, she will need even longer period to see improvement. So mummy tot, as long as improvement can Liao. And afterall I have tried so many methods, one more also doesn't make much of the different.
So took half day n went for 小儿推拿. This will required weekly visit and has to be weekday cos she had fully booked for all weekends. Guess soon I will kanna fired by my boss, everyone busy like hell and I keep applying leave. No choice jx is number 1 and work come 2nd.
He helps jx to massage her hands, body, back, face, head and leg. She did more on jx right hand as I told her from EEG, it shows that the admormal waves are from left brain. When he message jx back, she laughed. Guess she is very shock... Haaa.. Jx is tired but can't sleep cos he is touching her. After the message session, once I put her in the car seat, I gave her pacifier, on air con and less than 5 sec she falls a sleep. Hmmm since like it really helps her to settled down easier.
Heee, in order to let her feel comfortable, we brought all her barang barang there: her smelly pillow, blanklet etc.

This morning, Janelle shouted "奶" and causes agrument from my maid and my mil.
MIL told me jx called her "奶" but my maid says no, she says "Niceee".

Crawling
There are 2 says about crawling:
1. Some adults are concerned that children who don't crawl in the traditional way will be less coordinated. This is a myth. As long as the baby begins to move across the floor using each arm and each leg, there is no cause for concern. The truth is many babies never crawl!
2. Crawling has also been linked to later reading skills. Crawling uses cross-lateral motions which cross hemispheres in the brain. Weekend always ends fast

Seeing J worring for her mummy, wanted to cheer her up... long time since we last met up. , so A and me planned to gives her a surprise by picking her up from airport and have breakfast together.. but A was stuck at work early in the morning, hence we missed her flight... lucky we missed her flight, cos J's mom also went to pick her up from airport to surprise her too. nevertherless, we went to her place to pick her up for breakfast at MacDonald.. and i have my MacDonald Monopoly Map.. :) Have a great time with them and all head back home after breakfast to sleep. wahaha..
When Janelle took her afternoon nap, i also fall alseep while talking to my mom in her room on her bed.. too tired.. Seldom take afternoon nap, but today dont know why i slept 2.5 hrs.. together with Janelle.

Dreams
11th November 2009, Wednesday
These few weeks, my sleep is not deep sleep at all.. keeping dreaming. I had dreamt that Jx calls me mummy.. dreamt that jx starts to crawl and walk.. dreamt that jx going to school.. dreamt that jx crawl over and hug me.. dreamt that i'm pregnant... almost everyday i will dream of something..
WHY?
am i stress? nope
am i worried? maybe
am i looking forward for these to happen? of cos
will it happen? yes, it will.. just a matter of time??

9th Tooth
All these days of haywire, it is all because of teething.
and being having only 8 teeth for the last 5 months, my maid spotted jx new tooth.

Nightmare
8th november 2009, Sunday
After the swim, jx took a long nap and only woke at 7pm for dinner. Brought her over to Indian family house to play with the kids. And only settled in for sleep at abt 11pm.
Mummy n daddy sleep at abt 12am after two epi of hk series.
1am - jx had her first seizure for the night. Hus attended to her, feed some water, change pamper n tight her in to sleep
2am - jx wake up crying because her pacifier dropped.
2.30am - jx turning here n there, and sob. Mummy too tired, went over to sleep beside her n pat her sleep. But she cries everytime pacifier dropped. This dead tired mummy woke up n scolded her.
3am - mummy woke up n feed jx milk. Hus was very angry because all the distrub, he went out to the living room to cool down. My mil woke up, and try to be kind, she went to set up a bed for hus in the living room. Hus nerve snapped, throw his temper n mil quickly take jx over to her room.
4am - finally can have some rest. But i am worrying for hus n jx, in my mind questions starts to come in.. why can't I have a more understanding husband, how come my girl has seizure, how come shep is not normal... How come she still can't sleep through the night.. Why thus happens to me??
5am - finally I fall asleep
6am - my maid wakes me up cos jx had her 2nd seizure. Quickly ran over and check on Janelle. This seizure lasted much longer than usual. When I was about to take medicine to help her abort fits, she back to self. But without hearing her cry, am not comfortable as worry if she still at fits. Hence I hit her hard at her foot, she just stare at me. I tried a few times, but she didn't cry out. I gets very worried, and don't know what to do. This time hus came over, he tried to hit Janelle one real hard on her feet, and when we about to give her the medicine to abort the condition. Finally she cried. This is when everyone hearts dropped. At least we know her mind is awake stage.
6.30am - I brought back to our room n rest. Mummy break down crying under the blanket. Never had this kind of feeling before. Am so worried for Janelle.
8am - daddy leave us to shanghai.
One thing make me feel bad till now is when daddy called me at airport, I told him, if can extend the trip, then pls extend instead telling him we miss him. Guess he must be very heart broken on this wife. But I really want some peace abs really hope he can have his good night rest.
Both hus n mil blamed this nightmare to the swim, as they says jx is overtired. To me, not sure is because of new food mushroom intro to her by mil or is the night gathering at Indian family place over excitied her or is the swim...

First swim

Planning this swimming session since one month ago. From buying Janelle swim wear, sourcing for floats, mummy swim wear and sun block.
Finally, brought Janelle to public pool for her first swim, but mummy not feeling too good, hence daddy and jx's 二哥 went into swim pool with Janelle with mummy n auntie off shore preparing n serve them in pool.

what a day...
31st October 2009, Saturday
Unhappy things can happens many many time in a day:
- Went mygym today with Janelle, got the maid to warm up with jx while i went over bookstore to gets some stationary. Due to long queue at the cashier, i missed the 1st half of class. I rushed back and managed to attend 2nd half class.
- designed and ordered a birthday cake for my sis who is celebrating birthday today.. but i placed with "This saturday (01 Nov 2009), ended up they didnt checked with me on the date again and just placed the order as sunday (01 Nov 2009). As a result, no cake for my sis.. I feel so bad, and got 2 cakes for her instead.
- Today, I saw someone i disliked for years since my sec time. spoiled my mood.
- i opened the window in my study room, and worked half way and janelle cries so i went to attend her. suddenly it rained and i forgot about the opened window, as the result... kogan's laptop had showered with rain. i feel very bad when seeing him so upset.. i know he wanted to scold me, but he didnt says a single word... lucky the laptop is alright after blow dry...
- as usual, janelle didnt sleep in the night. |||
Tomorrow will be better.
