A picked me up from KKH as we have a follow up session with Dr. Dr advised us to reduce one of the drugs and move on to another drug again. I guess i can be a dr for epilepsy too. Change Drugs and increase Drugs are what they can advice. We headed to pick J and back to J's place.
We shared our stories and thoughts for each. They had given me their thoughts on how i can move forwards. What i should do. I guess i already have the answer, especially for Janelle. But they have injected me with a strength that make me stronger and firm on what's i'm doing is right. They had pointed out ideas that it had not come to my mind. Thanks ladies, that's what i need. Every household has its problem, but dont forget the boat will be straighten by itself when it found a harbour. God blessed you.

Goat Goat Milk Milk

After hearing GD advice reduce cow milk intake for brain damaged child due as could be allergy to the cow homos, and BRT found that Janelle is having intolerance to cow milk. We decided to replace janelle's cow milk powder with fresh goat milk. We specially make a trip down to the Hays Dairies farm (Singapore Only Goat farm at Lim Chu Kang) to enquiry about the milk on Good Friday. http://www.haydairies.com.sg/ We bought 5 bottles of fresh goat milk to try out with Janelle to see if she can tolerance the smell. so far so good. So after this last tin of Gain IQ, we will move to 100% goat milk. The price is kind of steep. One bottle cost $2 (purchase from the farm) / $2.50 (for delivery) for 200ml. Says if Janelle takes 3 bottles a day, that's $6 to 7.50 a day, and $30-$35 a week and $120 - $140 or more a month. Was thinking of fresh Goat milk vs Powdered Goat Milk, i decided to go for Fresh Goat milk as it does not contains processed nutrients, sugar, preservation etc. It will be more troublesome, as we need to warm up the milk just like breast milk, but i believe this will be a better choice. To keep her body away from the processed ingredient while we are clearing and detoxing whatever is in her body. Goat's milk can be used as a replacement for cow's milk-based who have difficulties with dairy products. Unfortunately, goat's milk is lacking in several nutrients that are necessary for growing infants, hence now her every meal, will need to make sure the solid food that she is taking has the all the necessary nutrients.

Should I or Should I not?

Janelle still has a vaccine outstanding - MMR. Not sure should i gave her now and work on controlling her seizure.. or to controlled her seizure first and then gave it to her. Doctor recommend to hold the vaccine till all are controlled. But i afraid what if things get controlled and after we gave her this vaccine then everything starts again?? Do you think i should give it to her now, once and for all complete the vaccine, and slowly work on controlling the seizure???

Without MMR, she is not allow to go to school. That's government regulation.

If you sign up as the club member, they will send you a 400g tin of milk powder when your baby is 6 months old. After which, they will send 2 packets of the 1 year old milk powder. But if I remember correctly, their membership has an expiry date.

Recommended to try out BRT for Janelle by a friend's colleague. *** Thanks Piglet ***. She told me that her colleague's girl is having seizures just like janelle and they chosen not to give the child drugs since she is still very small. And they have chosen BRT treatment instead.

We went for the assessment last week and here's the result

• Janelle has a couple of intolerance foods such as Wheat, Cow Milk, Chicken Eggs, artificial colouring and favoring. As she is not allergy to these food but just intolerance hence she does not has Rash or hives when she had these food. A food allergy is an immune system response. It occurs when the body mistakes an ingredient in food -- usually a protein -- as harmful and creates a defense system (antibodies) to fight it. Food intolerance is a digestive system response rather than an immune system response. It occurs when something in a food irritates a person's digestive system or when a person is unable to properly digest or breakdown, the food.


• In her body, we can find heavy metals like Mercury could be from deep sea fishes and even from injection.


• Weak lung and liver are very weak which can be caused by the long term medication.


• Found bacteria in her body which is harmful to her lung, and we will need to reduce sugar intake in her to prevent the bacteria to grow.


• Weak back and pelvis muscle, which this is a known issues from OT and we are working on it.


• Allergies to home dust, which is true as if she sit on the dusty area, she will develop rash.

We had went for the 1st treatment last week, according to the therapist, we will need about 6 sessions before we can see any results. The treatment is to strengthen her immunity and tolerance on those that she is weak at and also there is a treatment program to control seizures. We did checked with the therapist and understand that we are the 2nd epilepsy case in this branch, so they don't have statistics to show us how successfully it will be in controlling the seizures. She says she will gather some numbers for us from germeny.

1 week after the treatment, Janelle had a bad week, naughty visited her almost every day as she has down with flu again and she got the virus from mommy.. Mommy will always got some flu virus whenever i stepped into office. One of my colleague desk has this killy virus which she had been on sick leave for 2 months. Remind me to bring dettol into office to clear up her desk. However, we noticed that Janelle sweat more than before. Sweat more = fitter?? but i believed that's a good thing, because it means that she is getting rid of excess heat more efficiently, body function works better and properly. Hus and I concluded that let's continue to monitor for a month and we will see if there is any improvement.

The treatment isnt cheap. it's about $120 per treatment. Once a week. But as long as it works for her, we will find our ways to support her.

Finally have the chance to catch this musical with hus after 8 years. 8 Years ago, hus wanted to save money and had gave it a missed while i watched it with uni friends in Sydney. This was my first musical and from then i fall in love with musical play. It's now Singapore ‘s turn to embrace and enjoy the award-winning Broadway musical and join the 54 million people worldwide who have been wowed by the show. Despite a smaller stage compared to the show I watched in Sydney which doesn't gave the "spectacular" feel, but the show is still amazing. Thrilled by the grand entrance, added in Singaporean flavour, the powerful voice of Rafiki, the professionalism of Jonathan and Puleng, colourful costumes, amazing props and the show ended with a standing ovation. This is my second time watched this show, Strongly recommended especially to family. Sitting beside us was 4 aged 4 to 5 children korean kids, who had enjoyed the show very much, i believe more than their parents. You can catch The Lion King Tuesday to Sunday evenings at 8pm and Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2pm. Weekend...

Finally, it's weekend.. at the last 15 min before i log off my laptop from HP's role yesterday evening... managed to clear a milestone with a maddness of manual works required. It had been giving me headache for the past 2 weeks, eat and sleep with this project which doesnt bring benefit to the dept and myself.. just for the sick of mgmt information. Finally off my shoulder and off my to do list. Now it's time to catch up those i had missed within these 2 weeks, but no major issues... Yesterday evening, put on my mummy & wife hat and accompanied hus and janelle to the park for a short run... together with janelle, chasing after the birds are really tiring man... but I feel good to enjoy my friday evening in this way. The first Saturday morning is a day when i will wake up early and clear my bills and credit card. This month come in late as last week was a madness in time. Bills settled, and it's time to put on pop's daughter hat and go over his and bury under those paper works.. so looking forward to sunday, a day i reserved for family.. nothing but family where either be in my in law place having dinner with in law, or at my mama place chatting with sis and the 3Js, or be at home and cook something for hus and janelle... i watched 26hr/day japanese show, and they presented a very simple way to cook xiaolongbao, i want to try but havent find a time... and also need to repaint the ugly wall that HDB had created. so many things on my mind. how i wish one day can have 26hours.

my IPHONE4.... sobsob

Had been having problems with my iphone lately. Person at the other end cant hear me at all after the first 5 sec, but if i used what'sapp to call out, it's fine.. Just the normal phone calling that is having such problem. Today, popped by comcenter after work from office to get it repair. So sad, that service man told me that the mic in the phone is spoilt and the warranty is voided before it is due to water or what vapour gets into the phone and damaged the mic. Now the phone is like having cancer, it will slowly spread to other parts, and the worst is cant get it start up. So if i want to have a 121 exchange, it will cost me $350 but the warranty will only up to Aug 2011 as it's follow the existing phone warranty. Otherwise, i will need to wait till Aug 2011 and do a re-contract. Guess wait till Aug and do a re-contract will be a better option as i dont need to pay that much for another phone + will have 1 year warranty, but will need to go mobile-less for 4 months. no calls, sms and smurfing are ok.... And worst, all the spare phones at home are not able to support micro-sim, so cannot temp use other phone. I had forwarded all the calls to my home phone.. so i wouldnt be missing any calls. When driving, i'm thinking where the hell water gets into my phone.. DA-TAH!!! Janelle.. It's Janelle who had been mouthing everything, includes my phone. My protection sheet has all her teeth mark on it...

To My Reader

I had always thought that there is noone read on my blog. But i'm wrong.. :) When i'm really down, words from msn, sms, calls, email and comments had showered me with all the love, care and encouragement. Advice that gave me when i'm not in a clear mind. Really Appreciated. With your words and support, it does help me to be stronger. Please keep it going. haha. I know if i really need a shoulder to cry on, i never alone... i know who i can approach to. No need to too worry about me... hope you should know me by now, i'm a person who love grumbling.. but after that i would be fine and will move on. Love you xoxo.

Something happy..

2 weeks again... with the disappointment after seeing doctor... I spent one whole night, cant sleep, looking at Janelle records.. and i made this decision -

1. drop her medical dosage instead of increasing as doctor instructed. As i have a very strong feeling that Janelle is overdose. Of cos with this bearing in my mind... drop has to go very very slow.. no rush.... (i dropped Eplim from 5ml to 3ml in 2 weeks)


2. drop colostrum completely. As GD advised Child with damage brain might want to avoid dairy product as much as possible, She might be allergy to dairy products, allergy with cow hormones.


3. back her back with Vitamin C to build her immunity.

and YES!!!! Janelle has been good for the past 2 weeks. Happy Happy.. I believe She will be catching up with the others in one day.

Problem after problem...

Guess i have yet to hit till the bottom... Now my maid is now giving me patterns. Twice in a row catching her doing something funny. Today caught her watching at a hand phone while accompany janelle at the playground. I have never allow my maid carry a phone. Don't know how she got the phone. I hide at a corner and observe what is she trying to do... Then Janelle fall, and she just bend down and sit beside janelle, continue to "look" at her phone. Once i walk forward, she quickly hide the phone. When i asked, she says that belongs to her friend one... Trying to be funny. She returned that to her friend in front of me.. and i bring them home. As usually, she just "sorry mom sorry mom." if janelle is just a normal child who can run and play around without supervise, i will have no objection for her to hold a phone. But janelle is not. She needs lots of supervise... Janelle has no sense of danger. she will run towards those cyclist, towards children who are on the swing etc. Not sure if that really belongs to her friend. Under my eye, every thing is good... just out for a while, funny things come. If i treat you as a human you dont like, then dont blame me.

New workload??!!

Last week, pop called me and says he had terminated his HR manager and wants me to go in and temp support him for his payroll. After listening to him, i agreed that i would be the best person to step in and also my sis in law who is working there will also give me some faces. And he agreed that is a temp as i will continue to keep my job in HP. I took urgent leave and worked over the weekend to clear march payroll and had assigned tasks out to the team to follow up with HR's on hand tasks. Now pop is trying to cross his bridge, he says he want to terminate the WHOLE TEAM... ask me to support. He will call me everyday, ask me if i'm going into office. This is going to kill me. I agree that we should change new blood otherwise the same situation will happens again, but we need to hire new people first. without hiring, he wants to terminate all... Who to handle the whole HR dept?? i'm did HR before, but that's many years ago... furthermore, i have my job.. i have Janelle to take care.... but he is just a person cant wait. i cant take unpaid leave to support him till he found a someone. now in HP, we are in our peak period preparing for 2H.... Even since i step into his company, i have not been having good night rest... every night i will sleep at 12am and wake up at 2am thinking how should i handle this situation... to finish HP pending job and to read up about HR... i need sleeping pill in order to give myself a good night rest. that's no good... dont know how long i need to stand in this position. p/s: there nothing call white flag, just bite and hold on tight to the rocking boat till the boat reaches it's harbour.
