It had been a year

30th March 2010, Tuesday

A year ago, Janelle was first time admitted to Hospital for her first fits.. And our nightmare began...

Till now, a year already... and janelle is having medication 3x a day + chinese medication 1x a day + TCM tuina 2x a week BUT still having fits once every week.

While her little friends are picking skills like ABC, 123 and maybe phonics, Janelle is now learning very hard on human movements which comes naturally to other kids... Now Janelle can crawl, hold and stand, and steps out with support on both hands... My helper and myself are still working hard for her to pick up these skills.

She will be going for eipic classes at Rainbow 3x a weeks from 5th April.. every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.. I read online that kids will see good improvement in abt 6 months time in eipic.. i really hope that also happens to janelle... Will be going with her for the first week and will let my helper takes over it as mummy need to works.

Mummy had to admit that this is not easy... and is very tired.. but mummy will never give up.. every improvement in Janelle is god gifts and we will appreciated it ever more.

Mummy is praying very very hard that janelle can outgrow this evil ASAP..

Fly kite

It was great weather and we took janelle to open green for some fresh air while daddy plays with his new hobby - flying kites.

We had a great fun, i shall let the photostells th e story :)

Last day at mygym

27th March, 2010 Saturday

6 months with mygym, and today is Janelle last day at mygym. Since she going to starts eipic soon (5th April), mummy decided to drop janelle from mygym to save some cost and also not for her to overwhelmed with activities.

We had alot of fun at mygym for the past 6 months, doubt mummy had met someone mummy dont wished to see.. but mummy had great time with janelle excising, playing with gymnastic and realizing that actually janelle can do more.. it was a great time bonding with her..

We will be back... when janelle starts to walk and can understand instruction. :)

2nd Group of Housewarming

Hold the 2nd group of housewarming with my long time no see friends... 2 pretty ladies - Joyce and Sally.. They are very cute.. we had a great chat and cozy evening with delivery spring chicken and some home cook food...

All those stories really bring back lots of school time memories... and those seems that happened not long ago.. haaa.. ended our night with Wii and laughters.. heee... we will soon have another gathering.. :)

Housewarming

17th march 2010, wed

I have dropped the idea of having big scale housewarming. Reason is because very difficult to entertain and will be very tiring. So instead of big scale, I breakdown with small groups of friends at a time.

Today Jess n mung dropped by.. Took a lazy afternoon n "eat snake" from work to host this mini gathering with pizza n massage. Yes massage.. We called in a massage lady to have foot, head n shoulder massage for 3 of us. Shock!!

The most happy is they bought us wii as a housewarming gift.. I love it.. Hee wanted to buy long ago.. Now I can find excuse to excerise, move n jumping around with the wii.. Cool..

Reached home after tuina, clear up Janelle and prepare her to bed. The moment I put her down to bed, she have me a very sad face.. And started to cry.. Gave her milk - don't want. Gave her pacificer - don't want. Changed her pj, still looked sad.. Me and maid spent 30 min to pacific her, no use.. Then daddy called, she smiled n baby talks with her daddy.. After daddy put down the call, she wants her pacificer n fall asleep shortly..

My little sweetie missed her daddy...

CordLife Rewards Programme

Received a letter on CordLife Rewards Programme.

A mummy got my contacts from forumn, and PM me to be her referer to CordLife many many months ago.. I did.. and this morning i received a letter from CordLife presenting $50 worth of CaptiaLand Shopping vouchers.

Used to be cash, but now comes with shopping vouchers... but is ok... I going to take this vochers to get new toys for Janelle..

After looking at so many brands, i settled down with LV wallet again.. :)

Haaa... what's my next item to purchase?? better dont think so much, janelle going to school another expenses going out.

Should I or should i not??

Yesterday during the dr follow up, dr gave me a very tough question.. which make me in big dilemma, dont know what should i do...

"DO you want to consider brain operation for Janelle."

wooo, the first thing comes to my mind is wah, there is hope... but when i sit down and think thought it... this is not a easy choice...

pro:
- slightly higher chances to be fully recovered. Dont even need medicial.

con:
- High Risk, all brian operation contain of risk..
- expensive
- there are chances to be no changes, or get worsen on fits

lots of things need to consider but have to be very very careful... till now, i dont have any numbers on hand, cannot commit whether i should go for it anot.. tough

Pampering mummy

Had not been in a mood since 2010.. Guess had been so so busy for renovation -> moving house -> settling down -> CNY -> @work... Had a busy year start, and always feel so tired and sianz.



Yesterday morning, did a bit of accounting and decided to take out 1K from my own saving to get a gucci/LV wallet and a TV for myself...



Had been very moody.. thinking to go and do some shopping to cheer myself up abit... since i have janelle, window shopping since to be something far from me... can you believe it, even my cny clothes are bought online, and janelle clothes are bought within an hour from robinson and kogan's too.... so went back to mom's place in the afternoon to deposit Janelle. Sis asked me to join her for pedicure, thinking that i had been a long while didnt been for pedicure, must well... so I joined her for the pedicure session. Gave myself a foot spa to pamper myself abit. :)




While waiting for sis's bf, we went for some snacks..Taiwan chicken chop.. omg... long time didnt eat already.. haaa and we headed down to gain city to get a 32" TV for my room.. my thought is either i get it now without my husband around otherwise when he is back, he will stop me from getting it, giving me all sort of excuses.. so, just get it without thinking much..



happy... finally got my TV... now waiting for the guys to install the bucket and i can start watch my HK drama.. :P
