Without maid day2

Day1 without maid was ok. With hus help, managed to finished all the house work and rest with janelle.

Day2 without maid wasn't ok. Hus down with fever. He is too weak. By the I settled janelle is already 10am and I haven't have breakfast. Rush over to my mom place for Xmas gift exchange and my turn to eat and rest. Lucky with my mon help, managed to took an hr nap after my flu medicine. After woke up, hus says he is feeling very bad, so I rushed back to fetch him for doctor...

I thought with got hus help will be ok.., but who knows he become another burden to me...

Mummy & Janelle are down with FLU

Mommy brought back the virus from office on Monday and now both Janelle and Mommy are down with flu.

Yesterday (last day of work for 2010), went into office to have team lunch with my colleagues to farewell our boss. Having very bad flu and causes lesser air into the brain and very drowsy after the meal. On the way home, i was so tired and actually fall asleep while driving. Yes while driving, Goodness me.. My car swifted and hit the side of CTE. Lucky noone is injured, except for Mr Honda with lots scratches at the side...

Janelle speak

This morning, my maid told me that janelle speak.. She follow the TV pronoun the word "cat", "dog" and when the dog bark she "woof".. Ooo that's so nice.

Tmr is my last of work for 2010. Despite I'm having fever now, rushing my work to closed up all pending items and off I go.

This year there's lots of meetup. Last week, I have met up with my 2 bestie.. Over the weekend, met up with ex-colleague at keppel bay.. I loved the place so much, will be back soon. Coming up with sec friends gathering, family gathering... Don't forget, still got dancing lesson.. And my maid going to return home for a short break:( janelle & me will be stick together for the rest of 10 days... Wor, this dec is busy..

My heart skipped

This afternoon, not sure what happened to a long time friend, she posted all the long forgotten photos to facebook. Goodness me, when I saw myself, my heart skipped. Those photos are dated at least 15 years ago, then I realized that these are the friends that's at my back of memories who been thru with my the rebel times. It had been along time since we last met. Each has their life, love and kids. Every time there is someone initial a meetup, but for so many years none of it works out. Looking forward to the coming one.

Janelle started talking

Janelle started talking a week ago. Every morning she woke up, she will call "mama mum mum" which means she wants milk. "mama ahmm" means she wants pacifier.

When I says no, she will follow me.. "no". She is in the stage of copying. Very interesting stage, doubt not all words she can says, but at least the tone is there.

But who knows what happened, she had seizure continuous once everyday for the past 4 days. And no more mama from her.

Any maid having better life than her??

She applied 10days off from me to return to Indonesia for a holiday. As she had leave home for 2 yrs and she missed home. Though she only works 10 months for me..

Hus agreed and let her return home during my co shut down period which means I'm on leave for her to return home. She goes back n enjoy and I have to take care of janelle, housework full time. Haiz. Hus approved his leave,

Where can u find a maid having such a good life? Every morning, after she settled janelle, she will let janelle play around her while she read the papers. Every afternoon when janelle takes a nap, she sleeps with her. Night time she don't have to take care of janelle as i will take over. Every evening, she will want to bring jamelle downstairs where she meet her friends. My luge have never been better than her.

Last month, when i shop for gold to give to my Sis in law, she also. She bought herself rings and ear rings. Ended up Hus says give it to her as a bonus. Pianz. I been with him for 8 yrs, other then proposed ring and wedding ring... No other jewelry he even gave me. And when I request a Chanel ear ring and necklace, he says he don't want to get it for me cis no value. Angry.

Dadyy brought janelle to giant for night shopping as he wanted to get her a bicycle before he leave for china again. But too bad, no stock....

Beautiful morning

What's a day to start my Monday,
Hus needs to leave for work before jx wake up. Mummy, had no choice but to wait for jx wake up, clean her up, pack and send her into taxi to my mom place with my helper before I can heads to work in office by mrt/bus. It's a beautiful morning, but once we reached level#1 it's started to pour. Hmmm

Year End School Graduation

Yesterday for Year End School Graduation Concert for both Janelle and Joelle School.

Janelle's was not involoved in any performance. But the school has a theme to all children. And the theme is "ANIMAL", so i dressed Janelle up as a Minnie Mouse. I borrowed a pair of ears from Joelle which i bought for during my last holiday at disneyland. My maid innovative, made Janelle a tail using Janelle unwanted old pant.

Janelle was ready for hers.. But i have to go into office to have lunch with the team, hence she performed once especially for me.. It's nice and very cute.

After looking at the peformance from both special needs school and main stream school. I'm ready touched by the performance from the special needs school. Some children are on wheelchairs and the teacher encouraged them to perform and face the crowds. Simple dance and speech can be very difficult for them but at least they tried and do the performance it well.. jiayou jiayou.. anysteps forward is toward sucess.

Forced myself not to log into the computer and spent my day just for myself and Janelle.

Brought Janelle for McDonald breakfast, facial, shopping and swimming.

Improving

Today, brought janelle for PT at KKH. She was in good mood today, walking without support for more than 5 meters in the PT room. According to therapist, janelle just need practicing to get her balancing up. Climbing up and down the stairs will help her that.

Janelle love the bicycle, she keep walked towards the bicycle. She tried in it, and it seems that not too bad. Can exercise her knee. Tmr will drop by toy r us to check up the bicycle.

Now janelle know how her express herself better. When she don't like, she starts the cry.. When daddy says bye bye to her in going out clothes without bringing her out she will cry. Kind of annoying but also happy, at least she know how to express herself. Her likes n don't.

These few days, when she see me, she will very close to me. She will comes and hug me, kiss me. Stick to me.. My girl grow up lo. Starts can understand instruction. :)

Model for Mommy blogshop

Yesterday night, mommy got janelle to be model for mommy blogshop. but it's very hard to let her see the camera + stand without support and dont move.. this is the best shots i have..

the dress is oversize for her.. so not going to use it on my blogshop.. but she will definately be mommy preferred model.. will need to train her abit.. it will get better, so stay tune for the better.

Caught in action.. Now Chairs are her fav toys. she see chairs, she will starts to push it around the house.

We even took a clothes to cover the legs of the chair to reduce noise.. else neighbour will complaint.

What a day!!!

Today my Sis called me and meet me at my mama house.

The broadband was down cos the phone line is having problem. And worst thing is my husband took my broadband mobile to china without noticing it. Wasn't able to work well at my mom place today.

So accompany janelle to school for a swim. Surprise, my flu was much better after a swim. When jx having her class after the swim, quickly I went to post out items for my blogshop customers, eyebrow shaping n meet my Sis for late lunch. And return back to work, had a very long n stressful meeting after that.

Then, Sis asked me to accompanied her to sim lim to get S95. In the car, we plotted our strategy on how to get discount n the price we planned to bargain. We went into a shop her colleague recommended.. The shop owner offered us a price which is lower than what her colleague was offered. We looked at each other and nearly blust into laugher. Cos all our plans wasn't needed. But of cos, we bargained n compared the price from different stores. And it was quite a good price, and I bought one for myself. Love the raw image of the s95. Very sharp n clear.

Was quite late already, hence quickly went back to fetch jx back home. Was very excited over the camera I bought, ended up forget to bring my laptop home... Leaving it at my mom place. Mom called me when i was abt to reach home and says " you don't have to work already la" haa... No choice, u turn back to collect.. When i reached home, realized that I forget the soup my mom made for me.. Left it in the car.. Walked back to take.. Goodness me..

After put jx to bed, back to office n worked till now.. Time to sleep.. Looking forward tmr to test my camera. Haaa.. Stay tune for lots of photos to be uploaded.

Kkh eye center

OT from rainbow requested us to bring janelle for a eye test since the first month she started school. Me, as a lazy mom doesn't think it is needed. So drag n drag till now.

We went for testing of eye on her tracking, degree, astigmatism, eye ball structure. All tests are good except that she has high astigmatism. But now, she is not required to wear spec at this point of time. Will need to review it again in 6mths time to ensure that there is an improvement as now the eye ball is still developing. Haiz, one issue after another.

Need to reduce her watching tv time. Go more outdoor.

Janelle music bear

This was a gift from auntie Amanda. It's follow janelle for a year plus. Janelle had been puttIng to sleep by the bear music hence I dare not to wash it. Scare the bear music will be damage.

But it's really very dirty, mummy cannot stand it anymore. I bring it to have a quick showered. See how dirty is the water:

Bun + bun + bun

Oh dear. On Monday janelle returned school with a bun on her forehead at the same place again with together on the previous bun..

Yesterday suddenly she break down with fever. My husband was there telling me that could it because of the bun on her forehead. What blood cord etc etc which scare me off to the max. With fear that her flu was on and off for 3 weeks already, we sent janelle down to hospital yesterday night.

Doc confirmed that not because of that bum then fever, is the flu virus in her body that causes this. Doc says having flu again straight after recovery is normal as a school going child. Just need to make sure she intake her fluid more n monitor will do. After 2 hrs of monitoring, we went home with 8 bottles of medicine.

Mommy had been so busy at work, blogshop and bro wedding preparation till no time take care of her. Need serious time mgmt.

I called her superglue

Yesterday morning 7am, my boss SMS me asking me to reply an urgent email. Yes, 7am.. I afraid is really that urgent so I woke up and start work in my office while janelle still sleeping sweetly on my bed. She decided she sleep with me the previous night.

By 8am, janelle woke up. Can't see mummy and she cried very loudly. Quickly went to clam her down and accompany her for a while. From then on, she must has mummy in her sight, else she will cry. Goodness me!!!

This superglue lasted the whole day. Worst, in the afternoon, she refused to sleep without mummy, my maid bring her for a walk to drag to 6pm and I took over and pat her to sleep. Was too busy at work, not able to accompany her that much. At the first 15 min, can see her keep opening her eyes to make sure mummy is there. After which she took an hr of nap, when she open her eyes she see me and she smiled.

What a day with a super glue.

Bun + Bun

Last week janelle had a fall and have a bun on her forehead, yesterday she had another fall at the same spot.. Bun + bun which resulted a super big bun on her headache. When I see it, it really scare me off.. It way too big.

Quickly went to cook an egg and rubbed at the bun. At first she refused me to touch her forehead, but I have no choice, by force.. After a while, she is ok, I can even use some force to rub on the bun. After a five min rub with an egg, we see obvious reduce in the swell. The swell is still bad, but at least is the size of one bun.

Car in workshop again

This is the 3rd time this year my mr Honda in workshop. One of the fuel burnt and causes the air con not working. :(

Now waiting for the repair man to be back... Hopefully in time to fetch janelle back from school.

Parenting : Setting the example

How Mommy and Daddy act in the daily life greatly affect the children in the family. I saw a little boy about 4 years old, he was holding on a stick, acting as if he is smoking. Even small little action like dashing away the ash, he had imitate till 99% like an adult. My maid and myself almost got tricked by him.. When i was walking towards him wanted to tell him smoking is not right, then i realised that he is holding on to a stick. goodness me.

Children had always idol their parents.. the way we talk, the way we treat people, the way work, it will greatly affect them.. Always in front of Janelle, i tells myself "i have to set a good example for Janelle..."

Let’s build a loving family, and be a blessing and living examples to the little ones.

Our Little Sweeties

Together with a long time friend, we set up a blogshop to sell babies and toddlers clothes... For me, partly is to bring in clothes for Janelle at a lower rate and provide services to mummy like me who has to take care of the children and not able to go out shopping... you can shop 24/7 a day and save more while shopping online...

We are bringing in children clothes and accessories from Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and China to sell online at a low cost. I will be basing on my mummy instinct to bring in stuff which is suitable for the children..

Janelle n her walker pram

This is her daily activity, Maid will bring her downstairs for a 30 minutes walk with her walker pram. Yesterday, while maid was cooking, i took over the role the bring her down for a walk....

When this stroller was first introduced to her, she did not able to stand or walk with it. Because it is too light, when she apply force to it, she will falls.. after 3 weeks of practice, now she can walk, stand.. and even lift it up and turned the stroller while standing without support.. yes, now she can stand without support for about 10 seconds.. and she is having more control and balancing when she walks.

According to the therapy, her knee is weak.. so need to excise her knee too..
Actually, i have too many things for her.. but i cant stress her... slowly la... at least she is improving.

since i have Janelle, always had a thought of getting myself a good camera to take good quality photos.. but always put it to the lowest pirority and when have the impulsive to get it, things will happens like spend the budget on on getting myself iphone, uncle bob gave janelle a digital camera, getting hus a ipad, brother wedding angbao, etc etc. does this tells me not to buy? Had been relaying on iphone taking photos very much cos lazy to bring my camera out, doing fine.. but with a good camera, definately would be better..

SONY NEX-5 vs Canon Powershot s90. Had been eyeing on these 2 models for long... love their quality of image it produced. hmm... i wish i wish and i wish

Ms piggy

Today janelle is so clever. I passed her the milk bottle, she took the cover and bite it n made a piggy nose. I was laughing non stop. Quickly took my handphone to take a photo. But she already take it away.. Then I requested "janelle, again the piggy nose, mummy want to take a photo." and she really put it back again and smile for this photo. Isn't she cute?? & smart!! She understand my instruction..

Dance

Yesterday, i had my first even dance lesson.. with my family - pop & mama, me & hus, bro & wife to be, sis & bf with leonard from singapore wedding dance. We are getting prepare for my bro wedding which is coming Jan'11. we was there to learn the basic steps of slow dance - foxtrot and latin dance - salsa. Leonard was good and very patience with us, all are first timers. We are all very confortable with him, a very friendly guy. He invited me to be his partner for demo, he can guided me on my steps and guided me to turned very beautiful.. heeee... all of my family says very pro.. as in me very pro turn for my first time.. it was a class very relax and full of laugher... and my mom and pop was in confused.com when learning the salsa.. haaaa.. my bro is enagaging him to choreography his first dance for his wedding.

Breakfast at McDonald's

Saturday morning, janelle woke daddy up, and was "talking" to daddy... and daddy says "ok, let's go to mcdonald's. ask your mummy to prepare".. nothing in janelle sentence sounded mac do nald, but since daddy want to bring us out for breakfast, we are more than happy to do so..

Get Janelle changed and waiting for daddy... I start seeing cheering smile when i told helper that we going mcdonald's.. once we reached there, she saw the baby chair, cant wait to get into that chair. keep pushing me away and leaning forward to the baby chair.

while waiting for us getting food, she was there screaming in high pitch non-stop... we became the forcus of attraction and those just walked into macdonald, did not seat beside us.. quickly walked to the other area.. she stopped only when the pancake gets into her mouth... we see her excitiment.. cuite pie... :) and she finished one pancake, half of a egg and 1/4 cup of mummy's milo..

Brought janelle for a hair cut at salon. One baby hair cut, needs 4 adults.

Hus out of town... Leaving me on a big bed alone.. When I was to fall asleep, JX crawled up my bed and lie beside me. After a few turn, she fall asleep.. This is the first time.. Usually she can only fall asleep in her own bed...

So sweet of her :)

But mummy abit scare, cos she has the abilities to turn n turn n ended up sleeping on the floor.

My first CHANEL

Today was a whole day out with my mom, bro, Sis n Bf & niece. This is our first time, bro is joining us shopping.. Our intention was to get the chanel's necklace and do some window shopping for dresses for my bro wedding. But before my mom leave the house, pop gave her a list of items for her to shop for him... it's then ended up with a trip helping pop getting his stuff and doing branded hopping as one of the item in pop list is a branded and presentable belt. We went from LV, Chanel to Gucci, T&Co

Since many many years ago, had always wanted to get the double C necklace. This year birthday, i requested from hus but he rejected me. he says "so common" and he totally forget about it. So now I got it myself, this is the one thing good for a women to be financially independent. I got one for myself and one for Sis for her 24th birthday. Wanted to get another for my mom, but she keep saying NO. Guess she is thinking it is exp. Will be getting her one soon for her birthday, but in gold.











We ended resting our leg at taka coca.. Bro wanted to get a gift for his wife to be... Over the dinner, he was sorting out his mind what to get for his gf. From LV bag, to Tiffany's diamond ring... and come, let me take a look at your chanel necklace... after looking at it, he says let's go back to Chanel and another piece of double c necklace for her.. sis in law is wearing the necklace with both of us sisters.

Baby stroller

PT told me that it is good to put janelle on walker, it will able her to control n balance herself than us holding her pulling her from fall.

My helper asked me to get this stroller as it is very light. It needs slots of her own balancing compared to the walker.

When janelle is pushing the stroller, she can stand without support and turn the stroller over when it stuck at one corner. :) it's an improvement. Another opportunity for her to learn.
